Very friendly and accommodating hosts in a beautiful setting. The meal in the evening was one of the best fish dishes I have eaten anywhere.

River adventure!
Publié le 15 avr. 2017 sur ExpediaWe were so delighted when we found that our stay included access to boats that we could take up the river. We saw many beautiful tropical birds and could hear monkeys. after dark the river was lit with an amazing firefly show! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Good place away from traffic.

Unique Place, Unique People Running It, and Nature

Pour : The nature surrounding you all around. The peace and quiet. Personalized service. Unique people running it. Animal friends in the grounds.
Contre : Some who stay here may wish for more activities? Like a walking tour? Or a boat trip nearby?
Emplacement : They're next to the river and they had a kayak you can use. It was a great way to explore the area. Fishing village and beach walking distance too.
3 words summarize our experience at Mangrove Resort. Fun/ny. Quirky. Peaceful.
To elaborate, it's not your usual resort. It's away from town. Not many happenings near it. Yet we loved our stay because of the peace and quiet it offered. You're surrounded by nature and the atmosphere overall was really relaxing.
It was fun/funny because the people running it have a lot of cats at the grounds. Like over 20. And they have chickens freely roaming around. And turkeys, who are used to human company. So awesome.
And the people running it are quirky. We enjoyed the conversations. The stories they shared. Really unique. And the insights they had were welcome too! It made our stay even more memorable.

Lovely place
