One month holiday /2 bedroom

Clean but very basic. Tv in one bedroom ( not good for 2 adult friends traveling and AC only working in 1 bedroom. Ocean View is from a small window and balcony does not look out to ocean. We did not have Wi-Fi and stove did not work for 10 days. Finally front desk notified their manager to come to our room and check out the problem. ( could not notify owner as we did not have Wi-Fi) Staff very friendly Would not stay again Would rate as 2 star

Thank you Maureen. I'm sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations, but I would like to clarify some points regarding your concerns. Firstly, the place is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The AC is central, so it works effectively throughout the condo and the entire floor. Regarding the stove and Wi-Fi, they were in proper working condition throughout your stay, I think there was a misunderstanding or oversight in operating them, but not knowing how to use them doesn't mean they weren’t working. Housekeeper was there weekly to ensure cleanliness and address any maintenance issues, and everything was working perfectly; If you had communicated any concerns, we would have been more than happy to assist you promptly. Additionally, our condo is family-owned and operated independently from the hotel. Communication with guests is typically facilitated through the app, and we didn’t receive any messages or notifications from your end during your stay. We strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all our guests, but effective communication is essential.

Host Liz and her Dad were excellent, condo was small but nice and cleaning was excellent. Sunscape had good aspects like pool and palapas but the all inclusive part had very noisy music and excessive rules for condo dwellers which detracted from our stay. Location was good.

Tropical Casa

The condo was tropically decorated and was comfortable for two. My husband joined for our second week and it was a little tight but manageable. There is a little view from the small balcony and a window in the kitchen area. Overall the condo was clean. We enjoyed the beach and pool and found the restaurants outside the condo to be wonderful. The elevators repeatedly go out of service. It seemed that most of the time it was only one working. We became regulars at 4 Mares at Isla shopping area. We also liked the Food Park on the south east side of the street from the condo. It's only a quick Uber or taxi to town. Overall, we were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sunscape Condo

Initial checkin was great.Nice pool and beach. Customer service needs proactive training. Very noisy with multiple venues late into evening. Bar should have the ability to sell drinks. Property had lots of dishes left from previous days activities not picked up. Property needs upgrades. We booked for 8 days and left after 5 days. The property manager was very responsive to requests and needs.

Hi Daniel, thank you, but I find it misleading, you complete your 8 days, I was there in person and you never mentioned any of this, you were happy telling me about your fishing trip, and how much you liked the apt, so your comments are very surprising. The hotel where the apt is (facing the pool and ocean as showed in the pics) is a world class hotel so not sure how much more of a Customer service you were expecting, everything is described on the listing, also it is mentioned you need to purchase a AI pass to buy food and drinks from the hotel. I recommend to read everything in full to avoid issues and keep your reviews honest. We will keep improving

Beautiful site, close to restaurants and beach

A beautiful property shared with the all inclusive Sunscape resort. The apartment/condo had a small balcony for two people and one other window that saw the pool and beach. Great view and breeze when window/balcony open. Gorgeous kitchen table, reasonably comfortable beds, and large fridge. We cooked breakfast every morning on the 2 element stove. Weather was warm and sunny late April 2023. We did NOT do the all-inclusive but we’re able to enjoy the sun beds around the pool and on the beach. Just to be aware pool closes at 7 PM and beach towels are not allowed to be taken up to the condo so bring a cover-up. You are not allowed to purchase alcoholic drinks from the bar, so thermal travel mugs worked well for us to take our alcohol drinks to the pool side. Possible Improvements could be made
 - Air conditioning in mostly one bedroom only. (Had fan in other room). - Funny smell in apartment windows left closed. - Dishes/cups could be updated as many plastic cups cracked. - better pillows would be nice and so would bigger shower towels (managed to wrap my hair only) - if you require a late check out, be sure to ask well in advance as baggage storage costs $25 per person at Sunscape resort since concierge of condo will not hold onto it for free

Thank you for your feedback, glad to read you enjoyed the place, but some info is not accurrated. Pool hours is from 8 to 8, this is written all over the pool area, since the hotel needs time to clean and treat the pool properly. Towels provided are normal full body towels, not sure how bigger do you need them. We always try to accommodate late check outs for free when possible, but if you requested at the last minute and when we have guests arriving is dificult to accommodate it, but in that case front desk can storage luggage for a fee, since we are independent from the hotel. It is written in the listing that in order to consume drinks and food from the hotel you need to purchase AI passes, when you need or you can have your groceries at the condo, is the best of both worlds!. AC is central from the hotel building. Many of the items at the condo are brand new as we are always looking to improve and to uptade the place; so hope you can visit in the future to check all the changes.

Clean and comfortable!

The condo was clean and had plenty of supplies! Liz was very communicative. The instructions for accessing the condo were clear and easy to follow. The rainfall showerhead was delightful, and the hot water worked well. The beds were comfortable. I decided to take advantage of the "free parking" amenity, and rented a car. The property is located right off the main thoroughfare Blvd./Ave. Francisco Medina Ascensio in the Hotel Zone that took some work figuring out how to navigate, so if you're not a native Mexican already accustomed to driving on the busy divided thoroughfares and are planning on exploring the city, I recommend hiring taxis. We didn't even want to attempt crossing the blvd on foot. If your main objective is to just relax and enjoy the beautiful sunshine by the pool or on the beach, then absolutely add on all-inclusive privileges at the front desk. Some more details about the all-inclusive options included up front in the listing would have been helpful...even just a link to the property's webpage outlining the choices. But that's as close to having a "complaint" as I can get. Thanks for everything, Liz!

Hi Patricia, Thank you for your feedback, glad to read you enjoy the condo, you could ask me about renting a car 😊, I'm always available for any question, taxis and ubers are available since it is a much easier way to explore the city, many choose to rent a car to explore the near towns but to explore PV by foot, bus or taxi is the way to go. The All Inclusive passes options are part of an hotel service for the condos, since are totally independent, it's not a part of the accomodation service offered, it’s just an extra totally managed by the hotel. We will continue working hard and to improve.

The ocean view and pool area was nice. A great place to slow down and relax. Good restaurants close to the condo and kitchen was equipped so we could make a breakfast before our outdoor ventures.

Very Humid & Moldy

The house was clean. The check in was great. The beds are 2 queens not kings as in the description. The AC unit blew moldy air and was not that cold...really needs a service. The property looked fun but people did smoke on property so cigarette smoke was blowing in the window. We could not stay and had to move to a nearby hotel. Thee bell boy said the entire property has lots of mold so just be aware. Host was available & accommodating when we couldn't stay.

It was a rare instance, please note that your situation was an exception; as you can see from other reviews, we are known for offering a great place for travelers and caring deeply about our guests. The condo was booked for the next day, as everything was perfect, working properly and as described, AC has regularly service, no mold, the entire building is non-smoking as there is a law and here is no exception. We can't fix the past, but you have my personal commitment that we'll keep the hard work. I hope the full refund and finding a place with a lower rate helped you with your plans.
