Perfect Week Away
Publié le 26 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe condo was as advertised. Basically furnished and equipped but everything we needed. Irma was great. We asked for a third chair for the balcony and she brought two! The view was spectacular! Definitely recommend!

Publié le 6 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayFirst - the view from the balcony of this apartment is STUNNING! We were there for a week of New Years & just Wow - the fireworks around the bay..!!
Now everything else- the kitchen is falling apart, cabinet doors falling off, drawers collapsing, sinks stopped draining (they responded quickly to that one). Don’t plan to cook a lot - poorly equipped w cooking implements/pots & pans etc.Patio chairs are broken/falling apart. 1st floor bedroom fan & light randomly comes on in the middle of the night (be sure you have the remote close to the bed) There are holes in the wall & no lights anywhere near the bed - all light switches are across the room for the overheads. Also - building has 2 entrances front and back, make sure your taxi drops you off at the back, up the hill or you will be carrying your suitcases up a long flight of stairs past the pool to get to the elevator. Friendly staff. great pool.

The condo has amazing views and is in an excellent location. The interior definitely needs updating. The WiFi didn't work. After walking me through many troubleshooting steps, the person I exchanged texts with finally told me their internet service was out and they were switching providers. The person gave me a different WiFi connection and password, but that one didn't work either. I reported twice that the ceiling fan in the bedroom didn't work, but they never came to fix it. Overall the property is worth renting, but with so many parties involved in managing it nothing really seems to get done.

Bathrooms are tiny and showers have almost no pressure. There’s almost no shade at the pool and if you want an umbrella you have to pay 350 pesos to rent it. AC didn’t work in the master bedroom.
Nice lighting and patio though.

Fortunately, a kind couple let me into the building as they were exiting. I called Vacasa for the code. A day later, there was a knock at the door. Although the person was friendly, he didn't know the new code, either. Fortunately, the same kind couple who let me into the building told me the code.
The shower in the bathroom in the hallway didn't work, but the sink had hot water. The en suite bathroom sink didn't have hot water, but the shower worked, so I'd shower in one bathroom and brush my teeth in the other. This wasn't a problem because I was there by myself as my friends had to cancel at the last minute. However, if we had all been there, it would have been a problem.
I didn't need to use the a/c because there was always a nice breeze. I could hear the surf at night, which was nice.

Beautiful pictures but disappointing property
Publié le 22 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe wish we had known that there are two entrances to this property. One has 4 flights of stairs and is where the cab took us. The other entrance is street level and there is an elevator. Thank goodness the security/doorman came to our rescue and helped us up all those brutal stairs with our luggage. He also let us know that the 4th floor is where the main entrance is from the "ariba" side. When taking a cab they understand if you tell them Torre Malibu, the ariba side. We can't say enough good things about this gentleman. Even though he didn't speak English he managed to communicate with us and was so helpful!!! Be advised that the second bedroom in the loft has a slanted roof and you can not sit up in bed without hitting your head. The spiral staircase is very narrow and difficult to get up and down -- especially with luggage. There is no bathroom on the loft level. There are no closets to hang any clothes. Hard to find switches to turn on lights and many of them were burnt out so very dark. The main floor bedroom has a wall of glass going into the hall with no curtains. It is a very strange set up. There are no comfortable places to sit in the whole place. The positives were the great location and fantastic view. The pool and pool area are very nice and we enjoyed them very much.
