Publié le 7 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe would give this beautiful place more than 5 stars of we could. We spent a week visiting with other family and were blown away by the views and location. There was plenty of room for our group of four adults and two kids to spread out and relax. John was great to work with and his condominium is incredibly stocked with everything you could need. Housekeeping was also polite and thorough. Puerto Vallarta has always been one of my favorite spots and we cannot wait to visit and stay in this amazing condominium again.

Fantastic Views and Very Relaxing!
Publié le 16 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe used this location for a New Year's girl's trip to relax and recharge. This condo is very well equipped with a large kitchen and dining room. The views from the deck are very relaxing. Great sunrise and sunsets! The place is very quiet, and you do get some free entertainment in the evening from the resort next door. The staff was very friendly.

Perfect Getaway!

Cleaning service was very poor
Publié le 31 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayWhen we checked into the condo the maid had left a mountain of laundry from the previous tenant. I was told that someone would be back to look after it. No one arrived until after 3:30pm the next day. I needed to pass through the laundry room to get to my bedroom. I washed, dried, folded & put away at least 10 loads of laundry that I did not create. I sent a note to the owner & never heard back. I took it up with the manager & she explained that it was due to the Christmas season. Not at all impressed!

Thank you for your comments, Karen. As you know the condo is not a resort with large crews of housekeeping staff working around the clock. In our back-and-forth communication, I referenced the fact that same-day turnarounds, which are not typically approved by our condo HOA/Admin, can present several challenges. Our housekeeper’s priority is to focus on the bedding and towels required for the guests’ first few days, which is why you had clean beds and towels waiting for you on arrival, Karen. Any remaining laundry is taken care of by our housekeeper within 24 to 48 hours. I knew she would have your bedrooms and bathrooms changed over and the rest of the condo clean, and I trust the fresh bedding and towels in your bedrooms and bathrooms were satisfactory. I must admit to being confused as to how the laundry amounted to 10 loads with our large capacity washer and dryer. There was no requirement or expectation for you to wash and fold any laundry. If it was in the way, Karen, it would’ve been quite acceptable to move it to the top of the washer and dryer, thereby clearing the path to the bunk room. Your group arrived on the cusp of Christmas, and a basic sense of humanity precluded me from asking my housekeeper to report to work late on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day to wash laundry. We insisted that after preparing for your arrival, our housekeeper should spend the day celebrating her religious holiday with her family. It appears from your comments that she did in fact return on Christmas Eve.
Thank you again for your patronage, Karen. I’m sorry your expectations were not met with regard to the laundry room. I hope that all other aspects of your stay were enjoyable and memorable.

Great experience of Puerto Vallarta
Publié le 22 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is an amazing place to stay. Best thing I did was to stay at this place for our Mexico experience. From start to finish John was extremely helpful. Everything was so perfect, we practically stayed home most of the time watching ocen. We saw so many whales from the balcony, we used kitchen to prepare most of our vegetarian meals. Staff at the condo is so friendly and helpful. We used cab often to visit city to get fruits and vegetables. Diana susi. Is a great place to get fruits and vegetables. Next to this market we got bread and wonderful juice . I will be visiting this location again and again. We felt home here. Thank you John for your help.

Best condo in puerto Vallarta!!

Beautiful location, clean facilities, lots of bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms, daily maid service, incredible views, great beach out front with good snorkeling, and the best stocked condo I’ve ever stayed in. This was perfect for families because there were beach chairs, umbrella, soft sided coolers, two sets of snorkels/fins, and goggles. The host checked in with us several times and maintenance came out within the day to fix a shower handle when I let him know it wasn’t working. Don’t hesitate to book this condo, it was the best part of our trip.

Thank you Laurell, we have replaced the air conditioners and all shower mixers with new high quality. It will be even better for the next stay. Also repainted top to bottom last month.

A week of paradise

Little slice of paradise
Publié le 16 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayLoved our stay at Las Penas. The condo was lovely. The view of the balcony was spectacular. Loved the little beach. The sand was so soft and easy entry into the water. Some days the waves crashed a little hard, but was very entertaining watching people from the hotel next door trying to get past the waves. Could watch the nightly entertainment from the hotel off our balcony, but was still very private. Our friends said the shrimp tacos from the restaurant were the best bite of food they had the whole holiday. John was great to work with and very responsive to all my questions. Would definitely go back.
