Charmy period house, centrally located
Publié le 21 sept. 2019 sur HotelsIt is a very charmy and historic house located a few minutes walking from the lake and puerto Varas city centre. Wifi was a bit hit and miss but there is a parking space and the hosts were really polite and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and the room while not very big was clean and comfortable. Would recommend

Comfy Place Away from Home
Publié le 2 avr. 2019 sur HotelsHostal Opapa Juan confirm all the reasons and advantages one chooses a hostal over a hotel: the owner, Joaquina, and her son Renato, exude warmth and helpfulness. Their home made kuchen and marmalade and selected cold cuts made our breakfast a wonderful start of our days. The rooms are modest but clean and comfortable. If we are back in Puerto Varas we will stay with them again. Carlos and Linda Saez, USA, March 7-10, 2029

People and their service will always be a decision making point when rating the service. These guys just rocked it - They were amazing, not only because what they had to do, but also because the extra mile they went through on every aspect.
I have the chance to visit them and stay with them, don't hesitate, you will not regret it!

Hostal mit deutschen wurzeln
Publié le 31 déc. 2017 sur HotelsWir, familie mit 2 jugendlichen kindern, haben hier 2 naechte uebernachtet. Der empfang war herzlich, es wird auch ein bisschen deutsch gesprochen. Es ist ein umgaengliches familiaeres hostal, gut gepflegt und sauber. Besonders das fruehstueck ist in umfang und qualitaet hervor zuheben. Preis leistung stimmt absolut.

The staff have been great!! Really friendly and a great help. Breakfast is super tasty too :0 ) would definitely recommend and we would definitely come back.

Hostel with great location and atmosphere
Publié le 30 sept. 2017 sur HotelsOur main reason for choosing this hostel was its location. Hostal Opapa is really close to the bus station, just a 400 metres walk. The service is excellent, provided in Spanish/English and to our surprise also in German. The breakfast included home made wholegrain bread(only places from our hostels in Chile) and dessert according to the season. Inside the hostel there are personal pictures, puzzles, things etc. attached to the walls. We liked this stuff, it told the story of the house to us.
In our opinion, room was definitely warm enough. Actually we didn't even use all the wool blankets from the room.
The view from the room was stunning, headed to the volcano Calbuco. Highly recommended to stay here, if you like staying uphill from the lake.

Vintage german vibes
Publié le 4 févr. 2017 sur ExpediaReally nice hostal in Puero Varas. It's an old and really nice german house turned into an hostal, walking distance from the lake. The hoyel staff is really friendly, and the breakfast offered is really nice. Overall, cozy and cute.
