Avis Hotel Alto Puerto Varas

Nos gusto el desayuno. A parte de eso todo mas o menos. La piscina : fea, media vacia y sucia, las tinajas vacias. Se nos olvido la llave a dentro de la habitacion, ellos no tenian otra llave, por gracias el guardia acepto entrar,a media noche, por la ventana del bano para abrirnos desde dentro. Dentro de la habitacion tuvimos que solicitar panos, alfombra de bano. No habia ningun vaso. Nada grave, pero tampoco ningun detalle que le da la gana de volver.

Faded glory hotel which is in need of total refurbishment. Access is via very dusty rough unmade steep drive which damaged our rental car tyres. Long walk from town, hidden down unmade road above R5. Our room 202 had no window, was dirty and absolutely no sound proofing. Wires hanging out of wall, shower was white plastic which was not secure to stand in and creaked alarmingly when stood in. Shower enclosure was hanging via a chain attached to a small hook in ceiling. Ceiling in bedroom patched in places and raw in others. Very poor and tatty accommodation. The breakfast was hit and miss, sometimes coffee, sometimes cutlery and crockery, sometimes not! However.....I would like to commend the staff who were cheerful friendly and helpful as we do not speak Spanish. One lady used her phone to translate for us and the manager went out of his way to help when we had a flat tyre, calling the rental company on our behalf. Our thanks to him.

Lidt slidt hotel udenfor byen. Bygningen er flot og vil med få forbedringer kunne blive rigtig lækker. De 2 spabade havde tilsyneladende ikke været i brug i lang tid da vi var der.
