Very run down. Parts of the lounge floor are collapsing, strong mould smell throughout, toilet almost overflows each flush, kitchen plates/crockery were chipped and dirty.
Our 7 year old was trapped in the toilet which has no exterior window thanks to a pencil, electrical tape and drill-bit being used as a lock mechanism (yes, you read that right). We eventually had to kick the door in to free a panicking child. Totally against Building Code. Pencil and electrical tape about sums up how the property is being held together…
The redeeming factors are the bush & birds location with a ‘peak’ of lake view. The property has great style that COULD be absolutely awesome if some routine maintenance was completed. Book here with caution.

Loved our stay

Serene and comfortable
Publié le 13 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayJust as advertised. Secluded and serene with Birds singing and dragonfly’s buzzing. Spectacular view and comfortable bed. Heaps of games etc for that wet day.
The property is getting a bit tired but it’s all it claims and you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect spot for a relaxing break.

Fabulous location with lake views
Publié le 10 janv. 2020 sur HomeAwayA lovely property with gorgeous views out over the lake. Interesting architecture, quite a fun house. Heating (Free standing electrical and gas heaters) not ideal for winter, and the house was in need of a bit of maintenance when we visited, but we'd definitely be happy to return.

Stunning Bach, views and location. Tucked away in the bush with only the sound of bird song
