Barb and Capt. Bill are adorable!
Publié le 14 nov. 2016 sur HotelsMy family and I were closing on a piece of land in Williamstown. Capt. Bill and Barb are the cutest thing ever!! They were sharing stories with us of their experiences of their land. I could have stayed for hours talking to them. Barb if you are reading this.. I'm going to make that homemade whipped cream with brandy you recommended for Thanksgiving. In the spring we will be having alot of family coming up to help us clear the trees off the property and without a doubt will be recommending Feeder Creek Lodge. The only problem with our trip is that we couldn't stay longer.

Quiet and remote area
Publié le 28 oct. 2015 sur HotelsI opted to stay here while visiting SUNY Oswego for family and friends weekend. I thought it might be a nice change from my usual. It is a nice lodge, but nothing exceptional. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and sagged terribly in the middle. The 'continental breakfast' consisted of small prepackaged caked goods with no other options. Coffee and tea was readily available.
The owner, Barb, was very polite and accommodating. It would have been nice to have more directions/information about the lodge, maybe in a book form like hotels or some B &B's have.
I do not think I would stay here again, but my husband said he and his brother may return for a fishing trip.

Pour : location.
Contre : everything was good.
Emplacement : many outdoor activities in this area.
we stayed two nights in the lodge. we were not so keen with they idea of the shared bath but there were three i believe and they were very well maintained. the room was what a tired fisherman needs a clean bed and pillow. the lodge has very nice common areas, kitchen, living and dining area. the screened porch has a grill so you basically have everything you need to get by if you bring a full cooler. the other guests were very friendly as were the proprietors. we will go back, the only problem is timing the reservation during the run.
may you have tight lines wherever you may travel.

Hi Bob: Barbara and I appreciate your taking the time to leave a review. I have been a licensed charter boat captain since 1987 so we have a pretty good idea of what a fisherman needs. As for timing the annual salmon run if you figure that out please let me know.
