Bungalows in direkter Strandnähe. Tauchen und Schnorcheln waren super. Hausriff war genial. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Personal war immer freundlich und zugewandt. Alles im allem war es ein sehr guter Urlaub.

Nice island with poor service and boring food

The island is beautiful and the rooms are clean and nice. But the service and the food is absolutly not on a high level and thus it's really overpriced for what you get! Breakfast is a catastrophe and really basic with low quality in the little choice you have...then you have to choose your lunch every time during breakfast and then your dinner during punch even if your not even finished...the choise is OK but the whole food quality is really low and after 2-3 days it's getting to be all the same....as you have no choise as to eat there it gets boring. Then there are all the hidden costs that are really adding to the bill. First of all the transit cost 500'000 rupia per person!! But if you try to organize a privat driver who would coat about 200'000 vor the whole car (!!!) they would price you 300'000 for the 15-20 minute drive with the boat! Additional to that the pruces for the drinks are out of this world comparing to the prices in Indonesia! 6$ for the beer which coat about 2$ at the mainland and 3$ for a coke that is a few cents even in the little village on the islands....all in all I would rather go to another resort next time!

It’s only through feedback such as yours that we are able to improve upon the service that we provide to our valued guests. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed our beautiful island and our nice and clean rooms. I’m sorry to read that you’re not satisfied with the meals we serve. We offer a wide selection of choices for our guests, we serve breakfast buffet that contains a choice of three different kind of fresh bread and toast plus bread rolls, a variety of Danish pastry, freshly made waffles, 3 bread spreads plus chocolate paste and honey, a salad bar, a selection of cold meat cuts and cheeses, yogurts, different types of cereals, hot meal options, Indonesian alternatives plus an egg station where any type of eggs are served according to your needs which includes a selection of vegetables, sausage and bacon as you wish as well as pancakes made a la minute. Furthermore we have a choice of fresh seasonal fruit cuts and a selection of whole fruits, the choice of hot beverages, ice water, milk, fresh fruit juices and vegetable juice are also available. The choice of a la carte lunch contains two options of starter with the choice of a salad bar with fresh produce, two options of first course with choice of pasta or soup, four other main course options with the choice of fish or meat, as well as a vegetarian main course and four choices of dessert. The same goes for dinner where a salad bar is not included but can be provided if guest require. We apologize in case you felt obliged to choose your meals beforehand. As we kindly informed you upon arrival briefing it is not an obligation to pre-order your meals, you can order your meal at the time of lunch and dinner as well as the possibility to order meals different than what’s indicated on our menu in case you feel that the choice wasn’t according to your preference. With the above in mind, I regret to hear that our food was not up to your standard and that you felt that the food rather boring during your 3 nights stay with us. I’m happy to read that you were OK with the choice. I would like to clarify that the car and boat transfers are no hidden cost. These prices are clearly indicated before making a booking through Expedia. We are sorry if you felt that drinks were priced too high. Note that they are in range with other resort in North Sulawesi region and also related to complicated logistics such as transport & operational costs, tax & service charge, resources availability and other factors related to the remoteness of our island.
