Fantastic location with a private beach. We were lucky enough to see Bald Eagle, Orcas, Otters and seals all from a sun lounger! Sea clean and is safe to swim or use the kayaks. Owner is friendly and helpful. Great place to stay!

The greeting on arrival was very rude. We arrived at 3:30 and were rudely told to leave as check in was at 4. My wife suggested we wait in our vehicle, but was told we had to leave with the vehicle. A restaurant down the road was suggested
The room was far better in the brochure photos, which implied it was in front of the beach when it in reality was across the parking lot from the beach. The beach was all boulders, very difficult to reach the water. The room was cramped with a tiny bathroom.
We were booked for 3 days but wanted to leave a day early. We were informed there would be no refund, but we left anyway. I would definitely not recommend the place. Very overpriced.

We go out of our way to assist our clients in what ever way possible when they arrive at the posted check in time. From tee times to whale watching excursions as we are here to make your vacation memorable. If you arrive early we will suggest spots near by to go to enjoy scenery, coffee or shops. But if you arrive early, as we have stated no possible early arrivals....we are extremely busy redying the property for the days arrivals that come at the approved times, and if you are not interested in any of our suggestions, you are welcome to wait until such time we are ready to accept you. When you become demanding, and disrespectful, we will do our best to get you into your suite, in hopes that the next guest is late, while we spend time aclamating you. Choosing to dis the property, and falsly accusing us of misrepresentation...by means of we advertise a restaurant and breakfast included at our property discription with absolutely NO proof of either, is totaly unexceptable. In future may I suggest that you completely read the description of any accommodation before making your reservation. This would save your displeasure of not having your suite ready before the check in time, and have the required ammenities that you are looking for at the property you reserve. Being a senior does not give you the right to be disrespectful to ANYONE.

We have new staff from Europe. Sorry they mmissed the dishes, I will let them know to be sure they are all washed for the future. Thanks for letting me know

The owner was extremely friendly , showed us a couple of flying eagles and demonsta=rated her ability to speak 'seal'.

OMG today there is fish jumping everywhere. And seals galore...I believe I heard one seal say that he was sorry for being late for my call yesterday.

The property had beautiful ocean view and grounds. The hot tub was nice. The unit was very small with no privacy between units and there were a LOT of rules. The driveway and parking was not easyaccess.

I'm sorry to here that your suite was not suitable, and to small for your liking. Next time book the king suite which has a private patio,bbq, jetted tub, fireplace and living room. It may be more to your desires, although it is of course is much more expensive. Sometimes Choices are made based on affordability rather than desired amenities. We try to have something for everyone, but it is decided upon price point.

Qualicum Breeze Resort was a lovely place to stay. Resort is a bit of a misnomer but the beach side duplex we stayed in was clean and stocked with all the amenities we needed. Note that the private hot tub is for all guests. Owner was attentive, helpful, and friendly.

Thanks for your review. We had whales in front this morning, sorry you missed them. As mentioned the Hot tub is shared, but by reservation only, so it can be disinfected in between use. Cheers, come back anytime.

My husband and I rented one of the beachfront cottages. While the room was quite small it was very cozy and had everything we needed. The best part was that our room shared a beautiful deck right on the ocean with only one other cottage so it was very private. You can’t beat this location. In the few days we were there we saw a pod of orcas pass by, harbour seals every day as well as bald eagles, blue heron and otters. The owner was very helpful in recommending where to eat and shop and regularly checked to make sure we’d booked a time to use the beachfront hot tub. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay there again ourselves.

Not As Advertised
Publié le 15 sept. 2021 sur HotelsVery dated (1960’s) and very small rooms. Drive down to the building is dangerous, especially at night. Many signs of building code deficiencies. Don’t be fooled by just the beach front access and view. If the Empress or Marriot hotels are 5 star this place would be a reach as a 2 star.

It is fortunate that most of our guests enjoy our property. I guess being a building inspector, interior designer as well as a junior travel writer must be tiring. Our decor is
"Beach" not trendy, so impossible to be dated. But you would understand that if you actually had any credibility in that field, or either of the others. Probably best you stick to flipping hamburgers
