The facility was under construction when we arrived. It was quite cluttered with debris. The service was excellent, and that was communicated that our room had just been upgraded. The paint was extremely wet in the bathtub. We were unable to shower that evening and was still wet in the morning and rubbed off on my feet. Secondly, the toilet was not working, and lastly, someone came knocking on our door from the team that works or stays in the facility quite late at night, scaring me and my guest.

They are doing renovations and it made it hard to access the stairs, Toilet had not been cleaned had urine and hair on the seat.The water was brown which smelled like sulfur. The beds were clean so that was a plus. The manager offered a discount for the next stay in a newly renovated room.

the breakfast included was horrible. white bread, yogurt, stale cereal was the offer. no coffee either. room was fine.

The carpeting was extremely dirty. The hair dryer did not work. The plug-in in the bathroom did not work. The bedside plug-in did not work. Only one bedside lamp worked. The property is amidst a files of weeds with garbage strewn nearby. The outstanding item was a clerk who clearly was as disappointed as I was. Note: safety issue

The room was disgusting! The carpet was splattered with “spots/spills” The toilet at the floor had a massive amount of silicone covered with a black matter (mold??) The bathtub did not drain for about 5 minutes AFTER you got out of the shower The shower wall is covered in black spots (mold) in between the tiles The soap dish on the wall of the shower had a USED bar of soap left in it. Have pictures to show how BAD this room was. We used the ironing board to put our suitcases on as NOTHING in the room was clean. Have travelled before and this room was the dirtiest of all the places have EVER stayed.

Stayed out of the downtown after wandering the area and decided to not stay in town. Lots of chain dining in south Quesnel. Enjoyed meeting the young staff at the hotel as they were very helpful.

There is no way this property is anywhere up to any Super 8 Standards. Stairs are dilapidated with horrible unsafe stair height. The sidewalks around have ankle-breaking holes in it. The decor was dated 80's bedspreads and furniture. The milk served at breakfast was spoiled and needed to be replaced. The bathroom tub was lined with hopefully old grip but had large swaths of black sticky substances. The tub drain was so rusted it was green in color. The pillows were filled with lumps, entirely uncomfortable. The hotel is so cheap they appear to the re-using the key card envelopes. The shag rugs as the door mat are awful and likely carrying years of dirt in there. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
