Never Going To Stay Here!

My family will not stay here. The only thing that was good is that AC blew cold air. The toilet was plugged from previous visitor or clean staff. I HAD TO GO AND GET PLUNGER AND DO IT MYSELF!!! Did not know I am maintenance, should get money back. The breakfast was not good. Some of the yogurt had expired. No fruit was offered. The desk staff was abrupt and had no customer service skills. Felt like I was inconveniencing the person by checking in at 10:30pm!!! Yeah, not staying here or Microtells again. Very disappointed

Howard, the likely hood of a previous guest leaving the toilet plugged is unlikely since the room is checked multiple times by the room inspection team and also the housekeepers flush the toilet multiple times to make sure that they aren’t plugged. This means that the toilet was plugged by you or your guest in which we promptly provided you a plunger. Please note that we do not have 24/7 housekeeping or maintenance. As for breakfast we take health and safety very seriously especially dealing with food items and the expiration dates are checked once before setting up the breakfast and after the breakfast times are over in which no expired items have been found however we are not saying that mistakes do not happen if there is expired items on shelf then we would appreciate if you had let us known which you did not even though you stayed multiple nights.

This is our go to hotel in Quincy now. We really like the convenience and the ability to have a really good restaurant walking distance from the hotel.

Great view of the river…

Very efficient and friendly reception and staff; nice lobby, fresh hallway paint and carpeting; great view from our 3rd floor room overlooking the River and very nice shower. The reason for my overall 3 is that the room smelled smoky upon entry, the high top table and 3 stools were very rickety (the table was literally ready to collapse), and the sink faucets and spout were all loose to the point of having to hold them to turn the handles (the sink issues were the same in our friends’ room, too.) The rooms definitely need some tlc.

I liked it but --- person should be able to adjust thermostat. And maybe leave some sort of information about things in motel. But i would stay again
