Travaux à l'étage où nous étions. Salle du petit déjeuner en travaux donc petit déjeuner dans le lobby.

Just Needs Better Management

I asked to change rooms because the upolstery on the chair was quite dirty, the room rug needed shampooing long ago - very dirty - the bathroom was missing a tissue dispenser, and the hand soap, ect dispensers needed filling. The toilet handle also wasn't working properly. My second room was a bit better, but the carpet still needed shampooing and the sink/tub did not drain well. I understand this hotel is undergoing renovation, but rooms should still be welcoming and clean. I did appreciate the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The bed was comfortable, but only 4 very small pillows for a king size bed looked kind of silly. Plus my room was not addressed, so I had to ask for another towel for my third day stay. The breakfast, yes it is "free," but could use some additional hot choices. The best part of the hotel is the lobby that is welcoming and the staff was helpful.

Disappointed

Hotel is being remodeled. Every floor has construction that you have to walk through to get to your room. Also, there is no restaurant or lounge/bar. They are closed.

The facility was being remodeled. We did not know this when we booked the room. The facility should not have been open for customers. Dry wall was being installed or replaced. Efforts were clearly made to diminish the amount of dust in the air. That was an impossible task. The rooms simply should not have been rented. The attendants were gracious about changing our room location to one with less dust in the hallway. We would not have booked this location if we had known its condition.

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and quiet. Close to alot of different venues downtown.
