Extremely disappointed!
Publié le 11 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayCall arrival we were extremely disappointed at the overall home upkeep of the specific cabin we had rented upon entering, and as in ringing air things, and we started to notice very disturbing, dirty unacceptable, gross conditions like cobwebs on the chandelier, which led to a mishmash of bugs and creatures on the ceiling the bathroom tile and bathroom were extremely dirty as if they had not been clean And we walk down to the lake which is beautiful but nothing really to do and there was no hot tub on site that we could locate. We immediately reached out to VRBO and I’ve now demanded a full refund as we had to leave and rebook another hotel close by. The mattress on the bed was severely stained, and there was no key as had been described hanging by the door for us to be able to come and go without worrying about our objects being taken. The futon was really in need of repair and it was severely stained top to bottom and the bottom line is it just did not meet expectations and I did not feel comfortable staying there due to the lack of organization and very dirty and unkempt space

THERE IS A HOT TUB IN THE BIG GAZEBO. It is towards the water on the left side of the property is big wooden gazebo.
I do apologize for your experience. When renting communication is key. You never communicated any of this to me. You did have my direct number. I wish you would have let me know about some of your concerns before leaving. If my cleaning lady missed any cleaning I would have been more than happy to come repair that for you right away.
As far as the mattress. This statement is just not true. I have all the mattresses in my rentals professionally cleaned every 6 months as well as having mattress protectors on all the mattresses.
The couch did have some water stains on them. We have since replaced the couch in this space because people tend to sit on the couch with wet swimsuits. Since is was a light color we could not keep the spots from showing up. We now have a leather seat in there that can easily be cleaned.
We are on the lake in Texas. We do have bugs. This is not an us thing. It is a Texas thing. We do have a company that comes frequently for bugs and are continually cleaning our spaces for them.
Again, I do sincerely apologize for your experience! For you or any future guests I am willing and happy to help repair any issues I can.

No hot tub

THERE IS A HOT TUB. We actually have 2 hot tubs on our property. Per your request we sent all checkin information to Stefanie. I communicated back and forth with her on everything through text messages. The hot tub is in the big gazebo down by the water. I would have been more than happy to show her where it was if she didn’t see it. She had my direct number for any questions or concerns.

2 day vacation during the weekdays

The accessibility to the lake and two piers was great for fishing and kayaking. The hosts were friendly and live on the property. This is a good location.
