La responsable de l'hôtel à tout fait pour nous replacer ailleurs, mais dans le secteur, aucun établissement à fait l'affaire. Finalement on nous a placé à Viña del Mar, distante 40 km de Quintero. Il va falloir un dédommagement pour les moments de stress et d'incertitude vécus.

Nice hotel but not great service

Rude housekeeping because on the morning that they knocked the door to clean the room we had yet to put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. The housekeeper was extremely rude. The next day after the room had been cleaned there were no towels in the room. I called reception (after i had got out of the shower!) and it took more than 20 minutes for towels to arrive. We had problems charging bills to the room and again the staff were rude and not very helpful. On check out I was told that I couldn't use a foreign debit card to pay the bill to pay in US dollars to not pay tax (as a foreign tourist). This is only possible using a credit card something that they should make clear at the time of booking.

Schöne Strände im Umkreis 30km & schönes Hotel

We stayed in a superior twin room for two nights and had to complain about the lack of hot water in the tub a couple of times. The staff responded immediately to fix the problem, which was nice, but it was difficult to understand why the hotel had a continuous problem providing hot water in the shower. The floor of the room was too dirty to walk on barefoot - my daughter likes to run around without shoes, nor socks and after a few steps we found that her feet were BLACK. This hotel has incredible views of the sea, which we enjoyed very much. The staff were super kind and nice, greeting us with smiles all the time. The breakfast was simple but delicious, but the quality of food at the restaurant was average, not meeting my expectations. (You can find better quality food with the same menu in Santiago. The pisco sour was delicious though.) The neighborhood is not touristy, which we liked because we dislike crowded places. However, for that reason, it was difficult to find any good restaurants near the hotel. To sum up, overall it was a nice place for a short family trip in a secluded and quiet place.

The saying if it’s not broken don’t fix would be this hotel. Management does not allow preventive maintenance and eventually sink drain blockage happens, door does not shut to keep cold out, rutting shower door falling off hinge, rain creeps under the entry door, no air condition, no heating system, instead you get an electric heater. Kitchen operates like a school with three hours shifts. This hotel is not ready for international hospitality level.
