Golf Trip

Great property but bad communications
Publié le 18 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayDirections to check in seemed extensive but the info about the key fob at the front entry needs to be updated as it was not clear and therefore quite frustrating. We had requested a playpen but it was not there and despite emails, texts, and calls to the three listed numbers, it did not arrive until the day before we checked out. But overall the condo was clean and lovely (although a bag of garbage was sitting on the dining room table when we arrived LOL). We would recommend it… if you don’t need a playpen.

Absolute nightmare

They double booked, so we were offered another property…
When we arrived for our checkin we had not received the access code… after numerous unanswered messages sent we eventually had to tell our friends to cancel their trip…
We finally heard from the property manager with the access details an hour later…
We had already booked a hotel room at Copper Point.
We got a partial refund for our efforts…
Worst part was that this was for my special birthday weekend.. I’ve been using VRBO since it’s inception and this was the first time ever experiencing something like this.

Hi Eric,
I am sorry that you were not able to stay at our chalet. As mentioned with you, the arrival information email was sent out to you but you said you were in Calgary and not staying. We were unaware that you were wanting to go to another home. Sorry you were not able to make this work this time.
