Friendly staff. Impossible to find!

Pour : The staff.
Contre : Hard beds and hard to find.
Emplacement : I didn't see anything to do nearby. Close to the train!
My wife and I decided to stay here after our flight arrived late at night. The address on google is totally different than the actual address. There were some miscommunications and after hours of search for the place (no signs) we ended up finding another dodgy hotel at 2:30am.
We worked it out in the am that we would stay at the place the night before we fly out. It took a long time to find the place. It's not really close to anything. You need a car or a tuk tuk to get to anything.
Ruwan (staff) was really nice and friendly and let us out at 4am. For the price, it's alright. The bed was a little hard.

Thank you for the review and this is an opportunity for us to inform the guests that it is always advisable to contact us for directions.some guests do the mistake of using the maps where 100% accuracy is not always there.we do not have 24 hour front desk but we are always there to give directions if contacted even at this time of the day.specially when you do not have a local driver and starts driving in a foreign country for the first time,depending on an online map, you can only expect excitement. even though the guest has not highlighted the fact that, we managed to get through to the guest since they did not arrive the night they were supposed to be and offered a free stay on the way back to their country as a gesture.Guests are welcome to check what is available in the surrounding of our bungalow as this review will mislead future guests about its location. Ragama is a central city for the country with fast access to the international airport and accessibility to supper markets, shopping centers and public transport will take few minutes by foot.these guests have not had time look for any thing other than the map on their smart phone at 2.30 AM.
wish to advice you to communicate with the hotel specially when you drive around here

Pour : Large clean rooms in a modern building. Spacious lounge and tea making facilities.
Contre : It would be nice if at least a continental breakfast were to be provided at extra cost.
Emplacement : My flight arrived at early hours of the morning. Finding the premises was difficult as its away from town
Very reasonably priced guest house in a quiet location. Rooms were spacious and clean. Excellent value for money

Great Hotel and great Staff

Pour : Clean,Large Rooms,food and mostly the staff
Contre : Nothing
Emplacement : Very Central with restaurants,supper markets and shopping near by.
We arrived in a late flight with delays and lost luggage for the first night of our stay.the staff was really nice to receive us with a smile late that night.we were offered some coffee and that was really refreshing.we had a nice large room with a clean bathroom.
The staff was really helpful in assisting us with visa extensions,travelling etc.we were given advice as to how we should start the journey by the owner.
The food was really great. thank you every one for all the support and wish you good luck.

None of the locals knew where it was and despite being informed over email that 'my unit would be guaranteed with law arrivals' it was not. We found the hotel several times but had no answer. Oh and one more thing, I booked this because Expedia stated that it was 4.4km from the airport, perfect for me to catch my flight the next morning. It was 11pm at night, so no traffic and it still took over 30 mins to get to. No where near the airport!!!!! By the time we gave up trying to find our accomodation it was already early hours of the morning. Eventually we found a room and to bed by 4am.

This was indeed a complete false information where we had the room allocated for the guests and the guests did not turn up.
It was strange that the guests did not access the easiest way of getting through to the owner with the numbers posted in the site.. we have also tried to know the arrival details by sending an email to the given email id but it was negative .
We do not understand what the guest is trying to say about the distance here as the latest technology will assist any one with correct distance and time taken various locations.furthermore the guests who are interested can know the number of hosting we have made for the guests coming from all over the world and only this special guests could not locate my property.
As a company registered with the Srilanka tourism authority,we wish to remind the guests,we comply with all the norms and guidelines in the hospitality business.
We sincerely feel bad and sorry about the situation the guests had to face at 11 PM and hope they will take special interest in the future by notifying the arrival details prior when they make reservations with such accommodation where there is no 24 Hour front desk .
