Central for both parts of Ragusa - easy walk down to Ibla and I walked back up the steps. Breakfast ok, room a good size and spotless. 10/15 minute walk to train station, 20/25 minute walk to bus station

Good location.
This hotel is in an excellent location for restaurants and for sight-seeing. It is very easy to walk down the hill and then catch the bus back up from Giardino Ibleo. Rooms were small, breakfast was adequate, and parking(8euro) was convenient.

Excellent central 3 star hotel in heart of Ragusa
Two days InRagusa and stayed in Hotel Montreal a very nice 3 star hotel in centre of Ragusa Superiore about 10 minutes walk from railway station. It’s very reasonably priced and comfortable, some rooms a little small but for the price you can’t complain. It’s very clean and the staff are lovely, very helpful. The breakfasts are adequate but the coffee is excellent. Great base for trips to Modica and Scicli. Location is very good for restaurants and exploring Ragusa Ibli.Great wifi. Highly recommended.

Hotel Monreal
The hotel is in upper Ragusa just 3 blocks to the stairs going down to the old town. The rooms are an okay size for a reasonably priced hotel. Be aware that the air conditioning is not turned on by the hotel until the end of May, and as we had a hot spell in early May, it was quite uncomfortable. There was a student tour while we were there so it was quite noisy at night with thin walls. The front desk did change our room to try to minimize the noise, so I cannot fault them for our bad timing. The bathrooms are small, but adequate. A breakfast is included in the rate and they do have on site parking for 10 euros a night if you prereserve a spot. We booked this hotel because my husband didn’t want to drive the car through the small streets of of Iower Ragusa and we heard that finding parking there is a nightmare. In hindsight, we would book in the old town because there were just too many stairs to climb back up the steep hill each time you were done visiting.

The Hotel location is great, the staff are very kind and always friendly Grazie Rita & Emanuel, the lady cleaner always very friendly, breakfast magnificent, good choice of local food, the room was very spacious we we're very happy thank you.

A very lucky find !
We stayed two nights. The hotel was easy to find, in a great area close to the steps going down to Ragusa Ibla, shopping, and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful giving us good suggestions about where to go and things to do. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant which was delicious and the waiter was very attentive but not too much so. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

Wish I could have stayed longer! Highly recommend!
A wonderful hotel in the heart of Ragusa. I wish we could have stayed longer as we were very comfortable there. A 10 Euro taxi ride from the bus station. Very close to tourist information centre, grocery store nearby, a great base to explore Ragusa and Ibla. Room was very clean (thank you housekeeping staff - good job!) Room design was well thought out - even though it was not a very big room (standard double), there was enough room to place our two large suitcases and keep our clothes and other stuff off the floor. There were enough plugs for all our gadgets (which is rare). The floor was laminate wood so our feet weren't freezing like they are on tile floors. Large bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, good water pressure. There was a safe in the closet but we were not given the key, so I am not sure if there was an extra charge to use it -- I didn't ask. We did not eat at the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that. But the very nice hotel staff recommended a great restaurant (Taverna del Lupo - worth a go!) Would definitely go back and would not hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great friendly service
The staff were amazing maybe a little overworked as one staff member was the receptionist the waitress / sommelier and even our taxi driver. The room was large and comfortable a little on the dark side, bathroom was good with a good shower, hotel was in a great location. The restaurant is really good it looks pricey and we were a little worried as there are no prices on the menu but it was incredibly reasonable and I would highly recommend it. Fast in room Wifi and free Sky tv rounded out a great deal.

Great Location in Ragusa centre
Very pleasant hotel for a few nights in the centre of Ragusa and within walking distance to Ragusa Ibla (Old Town), via many steps or on the road for the longer way. Beds are very comfortable but the TV is old and small. Great bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle.

Another good choice
Lovely staff at reception, delightful. Room was small but very comfortable aircon was very good. Restaurant was excellent, fairly expensive but excellent food and service from a knowlegeable waiter. Would definitely recommend this hotel, also good location, 100 metres from Tourist info and handily located for a trip down to Ragusa Ibla. Getting the bus back, it stopp[ed around the corner from the Hotel, an excellent choice.

Hotel Montreal is great value for money.
We found the Hotel Montreal to be very good value for money. There were a few minor things that could have been better, but overall our experience was most pleasing. We would defiantly recommend the Montreal to anybody travelling to Ragusa.

Great location, with helpful and friendly staff
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Montreal. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, particularly when we wanted to change one of our two rooms. Breakfast was continental but perfectly adequate. We didn't use their restaurant for lunch or dinner, as there are masses of restaurants within easy walking distance.The hotel has its own car park (E10.00 per day) which was an added bonus for us.

You get what you pay for!
The Montreal was certainly inexpensive. It was located in a safe part of town, near the Duomo. It was quite a hike to Ragusa Ibla which is the historic part of town. Straight down a steep hill and up again on the other side. Not that far but a challenge! Room very minimal,single bed, decent bath. The main problem was the shutter was stuck and so the street light shone into my room all night. You can't beat the price though!

Comfortable and reasonably priced hotel in the centre of the upper town. Only negative is that breakfast is only available from 08:00, so that leaves you hungry if you need to catch the 08:00 train!
