Publié le 7 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed here to be close to my parents’ rental just one house over (Sweet Merlot). Plenty of space for me and would be perfect for a couple. Nice porch views. AC worked well. Showers hot water heated quickly. Large book selection. Driveway entry is a little steep/ rough but not out of the ordinary for Eleuthera. Would book again.

Publié le 26 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property is in a great location, super close to one of the best hidden beaches and very quiet. Can’t wait to go back. Everything about this property was beautiful. Sitting out on the porch listening to the ocean was amazing. Highly recommended!!!!

Charming home, well equipped kitchen, reliable wifi, nice book selection, good hot water. The only change I’d recommend is a comfortable mattress. The bed and box springs also squeaked every time we moved in the bed. Oh, some fluffy pillows would be nice. Everything else was wonderful.

Perfect for our first stay on Eleuthera

Location is perfect...close enough to stores and beaches to the north/south.
It was so quiet, we loved it.
The one thing I would say is if you have a bad back you may want to consider a different option as the bed wasn't very comfy. I have a back disease and it sags quite a bit so didn't sleep much.

Unfortunately, specialized mattresses like Temper-pedic, Sleep Number,, super orthopedic, etc are rarely options to ship to the island. The cottage has a basically new hotel quality mattress identical to those used at hotels in Nassau . We are sorry that your back disease created issues. Hopefully, you can clarify with the owners before booking future trips, the types of mattresses in their vacation home to avoid discomfort. We are super happy you enjoyed your stay overall. Lutra is a special place.
