Publié le 2 août 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty is beautiful and quiet. Lots of pretty flowers in the garden and things growing everywhere. Kitchen is built for cooking and is well loved. We really enjoyed making and eating meals together, playing games, and generally hanging out in comfort. Great stay, definitely recommend

Great view of the wilderness but could use some attention and updates
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Blueberry Farm was the ideal location for our family while visiting the Rainier area for a family gathering. The house has good bones and all of the amenities we needed but it could definitely use some updates and TLC. The photos of the property are outdated. As others noted, there is an odor when you enter the house. It seems to be air freshener covering up dog and musty smells. The leather sofa is in bad shape. The kitchen was great for cooking and offered nice appliances, etc. The master bedroom and bathroom are spacious with a comfortable bed and gorgeous views out the windows but there aren’t window shades which gave us an uncomfortable feeling. Also, there isn’t a closet or rack to hang clothing in this room. The property is beautiful however it needs cleaned up as several old vehicles, farm equipment, etc. are left to rust. At least the front lawn, by the house, should be tidied up as the porch is a great spot to gather. Also, the old workout equipment should be removed from the porch, it’s truly an eyesore. The wildlife is plentiful with deer sightings daily and lots of singing birds. If the house and property were well-kept, we would give this location a top rating however, in its current state, we give it an average rating at best.

Blueberry House
Publié le 2 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe "Blueberry House" exceeded our expectations! The property itself was amazingly peaceful...wildflowers, wildlife, scenery, quiet! The house was just right for our family and it was perfectly curated for all the meals we cooked and enjoyed! Communication from Gus was excellent and Scott, the property manager, was awesome! We would definitely recommend it to others and would stay there again! Many thanks for a lovely time!

Not as advertised
Publié le 9 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe farm house was nice. The property was over run with weeds and grass. You could not use the property. Most of the outside was covered in spider webs and dry rotted furniture there was only 1 window with a screen and the property manager warned about opening the windows due to bugs and Bats. Why have windows we can not open to enjoy the country and can not open them. There were junk cars and equipment in the weeds all over the place.

Great VRBO Home!
Publié le 30 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was perfect for our needs for 5 adults and one toddler. Lots of quality features in the home. Lack of closet or hangar space for clothes in the Master Suite and lack of curtains was unexpected, but property is private and secluded from neighbors. Next time I'll being a sleep mask to avoid the 5:30 sunrise. :) The home easily accommodated our family arriving from three different states and we held a dinner with local family which easily supported 10 adults. Beautiful fields and property to explore with Deer and Elk roaming. Property owner showed up to pick up equipment needed to prepare for the upcoming blueberry season and was great to talk to. Minutes to Longview for shopping and entertainment.
