A hidden treasure!
Publié le 21 août 2024 sur HotelsThe hotel is beautiful and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I would have never selected this hotel, as I usually travel and book chain hotels. I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation of the Lobby, the restaurant and, the lounge area. The room was very large and comfortable. I won't even complain about not having a microwave in each room (it's located mid-hall), but that is a consideration when I travel. Overall, it is a nice place for a short stay.

Nice Stay in Durham
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HotelsThe hotel is nice, the room was spacious & comfy. We did not have a mini-frig in our room...check if you're wanting that amenity! The wifi was really spotty, we had trouble using our laptop! Convenient location to several sites!
Be sure to pay a visit to Bennett Place & Duke Homestead & of course a Durham Bulls baseball game!

I had an appointment in South Carolina and it was cancelled due to the storm we had come through. I had to cancel my room (just booked the day before) and the hotel refused to refund my stay. This problem was beyond my control, nevertheless, I am out a lot of money!

I have stayed at the Millennium several times. The advertised hot tub has never been in service, but prior to this stay the pool was available.
This trip neither the pool nor the hot tub were in use. I was very disappointed

The hotel is tired and old. The bar wasn't open. Front desk didn't have quarters to make change to use the dryers. The Wifi was slow and really weak in multiple locations.
