Summary:
Spacious, modern and radiant with natural light- surrounded by greenery but situated just minutes from downtown Durham and Duke's East campus; Close to everything great that Durham has to offer! The 2018 home offers a streamlined, elegant style with striking granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a hardwood farmhouse dining table that beckons you to gather. In the evening spill onto the front porch with vaulted ceilings and up-lighting. Fenced in backyard for yard games!

We supply high quality coffee grinds for your stay with creamer and sugar, filtered water, EV olive oil, Himalayan Salt & Pepper grinders, cookware & serving ware, drip coffee maker, water boiler, toaster, blender & hand mixer. Quality Moroccan Oil Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash, hand soap & hair dryer in all baths, dish soap, & starter Dishwasher and "free & clear" Laundry detergent mean you can travel light and refresh laundry during your stay. Our linens and cleaning supplies are unscented so those with allergies and sensitivities can breathe easy.

The Space:
Spacious and stylized open floorplan living room provides a central gathering space for friends and family. En Suite King Bedroom has French doors to Granite Double Vanity and Spa-Like River Rock Shower. Child-friendly Master2 has Full Tub, Changing Table and Gorgeous Granite Slab Vanity. Hall bath for two additional queen bedrooms features riverstone flooring in shower, glass enclosure, granite counter.

Guest Access:
The front door has a keypad so you can arrive when convenient and come and go as you please.

The Neighborhood:
Situated on the edge of Old North Durham, our home offers proximity to downtown in an urban, income diverse residential area. The house is 7/10ths of a mile from the DIY District including The Pit, Motorco, Geer St Garden, Fullsteam Brewery and Cocoa Cinnamon. It's also an easy trip to Duke, RTP, the downtown Farmer's Market, & many local (and delicious) restaurants/cafes & local bars/breweries. Our home next door on Geer also serves as a Vacation Rental with a gate connecting the two yards, "*Bull Durham* Spacious & Walkable w/Front Sitting Porch and Backyard"

Getting Around:
The house is very easy to access and is a short drive to downtown, NC147, I85 and Durham's main thoroughfares. If you're taking a bus, there are many bus lines that should easily drop you off very close to our house. Lyfts and Ubers are abundant in the area as well.

Other Things to Note:
We have a Smart TV with access to Netflix, your Amazon or Hulu account, and many other apps. We Cut the Cord on Cable, but offer YouTubeTV which functions similar to Cable and offers tons of Live or On Demand Options!

Interaction with Guests:
We want you to be able to settle into this home as if it was your own. We'll stay out of your way, but we're just a quick message away if you have questions about restaurants, events or the house, or if an unexpected issue arises.

I stayed here with a couple of friends while we attended a conference at Duke and it worked out brilliantly. There's easy parking for two cars, the neighborhood was quiet, it was a 10-15-minute drive from Duke Chapel, and the space was lovely. A delightful time was had by all!

For days i was searching for a property until i came across this one. I knew immediately it would have been the perfect choice to accommodate my family and I on our first trip to NC and it did not disappoint! Everything about the property was amazing to accommodate 6 of us and the house came equipped with essential needs! The location was perfect! I found it on the first try and there was so many options (stores,food,etc) nearby. The host was so responsive and super helpful with a list of so much to do in the area beforehand i honestly cannot wait to get back and try the places i didnt get to!(ha) i will be more than happy to book with them again! Im happy I made this choice, it truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you for having me!

Great place for privacy, all food spots was close to the bnb, the bnb was an amazing, my friends were shocked on how good the bnb was, spacious. Only thing was the lights in the king bed room in the bathroom didn’t work but everything else was great.

A Lifesaver

This home was ideal for our lengthy, medically-related stay at Duke Medical Center. Not only was the home comfortably outfitted for any and all needs and wants, it was ideally located close to the hospitals, restaurants, groceries, etc. Owner was particularly helpful in some rescheduling issues. If we are ever back in Durham for a long spell, we will return. Excellent value.

Super clean and spacious home

Sister weekend for Dpac-loved the fact that two of the bedrooms had an en-suite bathroom. The home is decorated nicely and everything was spotless. Durham is going through an aggressive transformation/regentrification stage and this home is located in a transforming area with a mix of old and new. Can’t wait to see this area in a few years. We would stay here again

Medical procedure

You will not be disappointed in staying here. One worry we had upon arrival was the busy street the house was on, but the traffic tapered off around 7 and it was pretty quiet. The house was clean and spacious with all the amenities of home! The pictures matched the house exactly! If our next Tri to Durham results in an extended stay we will stay here! Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

An understated gem in a thriving and growing Durham

The restoration work on this property was a jpy to behold. The layout on the inside works from a common lodge-like middle area, with four bedrooms ringing the middle. It is at the same time a great gathering place and a place for private relaxation. My sisters occupied this property during the trip and could not have been more happy. Host Dylan went above and beyond to help during the trip. Highly recommended!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our time at this cute little house. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was even coffee readily available. This is a clearly experienced host who knows the basics people are looking for. We had our two littles with us so no stairs inside was a plus! We would stay here again :)

Duke Graduation event

This property was perfect to be close by downtown but in a neighborhood. It’s easy to get about town from this location. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed and very clean. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely home, fabulous hosts,great quality inside with all necessities. Cleaning, bathroom, kitchen staples which was unexpected but appreciated. The area where this home is located I believe is a poorer area that that is starting to be gentrified into a much more appreciated space. Felt safe and cozy inside the home. Businesses around close a bit sketchy. Absolutely would stay again because you are near a lot of things and the home was exceptional.

Few days in Durham

We came into town for a major surgery at Duke University Hospital for our 19 yr old son that is battling cancer. The house was a great location for our family to travel back and forth to be with him and have a place to rest. The area was nice. We hope to be able to visit again when we can enjoy more. Thank you!
