Perfect cottage
We used this as our base to house hunt in the Triangle. Great location!!! Our 2 month stay was perfect! The chickens were a fun extra to the house. Lindy is a thoughtful and attentive property manager. Would recommend for sure.

Comfortable, Cozy, Charming!
Lindy’s cottage is a charming space in a great neighborhood and beautiful wooded and landscaped lot. The house was beyond well stocked, to our surprise, and the host adds a sweet touch of providing pastries on arrival. Bed linens and towels were all nice quality. The chickens were a true bonus as well—our family so enjoyed having fresh eggs. we would definitely stay again. My one advice for travelers would be to bring a sound machine or ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper or plan to visit late while kids sleep. The sound tends to travel down the hall. And my one suggestion for the host is to add more towel hooks on the bathroom doors/walls so families can keep better track of towels. The real gift of this stay is that we were in town for a difficult family circumstance and on top of it had unexpected car issues when we were meant to depart. Lindy was so gracious and allowed extra time for checking out, and I was very thankful.

5 Stars is not enough!
My family was visiting for the NC Swimming State Championship and we happened upon Honeysuckle Cottage in our VRBO search. We could not have asked for a better home for our stay in Cary. My children are 10 and 14 and the highlight of their trip was checking for eggs each day. The chickens provided so much entertainment during our stay and we all enjoyed the fresh eggs each morning. The home was so quaint and had so many charming features. We will definitely be seeking out this property for future stays in Cary! Thank you for making our trip such a special weekend! We had a wonderfully restful stay with three cousins from SC, SD and VA! Everything was readily available with still staying on a quiet cul-de-sac. The garden and backyard was beautiful. We loved the chickens! Reminded us of our childhood. Will definitely consider for our next meetup!

5 Star Hidden Gem
Our family had an amazing experience at this adorable hidden gem. Nestled in a beautiful part of Cary, NC - surrounded by gorgeous trees with lovely floral landscaping that was simply stunning. The chickens on the property were absolutely precious and were extremely friendly. Our kiddos enjoyed them immensely and were so excited to see (and eat) fresh eggs. The home is stylishly appointed and had a down home country feel. It was incredibly well stocked with every item anyone could ever need. The hostess ensured our every comfort was accounted for and even provided fresh bread from the local bakery! The cottage was minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and the city. Highly recommend this incredible home to families or couples. Definitely a 5 star stay! Our most heartfelt thanks to our wonderful hostess, Your hospitality and your home helped create beautiful memories on our vacation and for that we thank you. P.S. If anyone spots Frank the turtle in the garden - be sure to give him a quick hug from our grandson. He found Frank in Florida while on vacation last year, and hopes that someone else will ensure that Frank continues to have amazing travel adventures!

We came in town for the College World Series, fell in love with Cary and the Cottage. Lindy was an amazing host! From the great communication, to the delicious sweet bread left for us, we felt at home. The location to everything in Cary and the airport were perfect. The chickens were a bonus!

Came into town for a wedding. Everything was great! Perfect location, very private and quiet area. Although it was a very busy weekend and we didn’t get to spend a ton of time at the house, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Little Cottage
We felt completely at home at Honeysuckle Cottage. We arrived after traveling on a very cold Christmas Day and the house was warm and cozy with a cute little Christmas tree. The chickens were a bonus, we collected a lot of eggs that our family enjoyed. So many thoughtful touches, we only needed to get a few perishables from the store but had everthing we needed for breakfast the next morning.

Relaxing
We enjoyed the chickens! They are very fun to watch. The treasure hunt was fun. We wish we would have brought wood for the fire place. A cozy fire would have been icing on the cake! Speaking of cake, The fresh baked chocolate chip bread that was waiting for us was delicious. The owner is very nice, and easy to talk to. Every time I had a question, she immediately responded. Very good experience.

The cottage was well equipped for our stay with kitchen ware, comfortable beds and plenty of linens. The property is very nice and clean. Loved the outdoor spaces; chicken coop was a fun addition. We enjoyed the nearby biking trails. The bikes and helmets were a nice touch. Thank you, Lindy!

Absolute Perfection!
I can't even put into words how DELIGHTED my family was with our stay at the cottage! Honestly, I think we would've stayed there forever if we could have. When we first pulled up, the cottage looked exactly like the photos (yay!), lots of greenery and trees, and Lindy had left a few left lights on for us (inside & out). This was so lovely because we arrived late at night, so it made the cottage feel extra warm and welcoming. Also, the house happens to be on a cul-de-sac, so the property feels peaceful and safe. I didn't realize this when booking - it was SUCH a nice surprise! Next, we were impressed by the cute code-lock on the front door. It was easy to use too which was such a relief because I'm generally terrible with technology. When we entered the cottage, everything was sparkling clean, and Lindy had set out some cinnamon raisin bread for us which was perfect after a long drive, and again added to the overall feeling of being welcome. My kids were exhausted after our 17 hour drive, so they came in and flopped themselves down on the couch and immediately fell asleep. The air conditioning was already on and working SO beautifully, so I set out to find some blankets for my kiddos and BAM - there in the living room were 2 fluffy throw blankets and 2 awesomely fuzzy throw pillows. I was so thankful for that because I was exhausted myself, and definitely didn't feel like searching the house for blankets. Upon exploring, I was thrilled at how clean and organized everything was. And ohhhh the sun room. So fantastic. And the hidden amenities were the icing on the cake for me! Plates, bowls, silverware, wine glasses, paper towels, toilet paper, hot chocolate with marshmallows, tea, coffee, cream, a variety of sugars, a toaster, shampoo, conditioner, soap....the list goes on. I felt relieved honestly, because on vacation you basically need all the things you don't even know you need untilyou realizeyou forgot to pack them. Then I opened the closet to find children's books and umbrellas and other cute & helpful items. Also - extra blankets and pillows in the closets, the softest towels I've EVER felt (seriously where can I buy some of those?), and a gorgeous wood burning fireplace. We had a fire on our last night there and it was the most amazing & relaxing experience. We will definitely be staying again!!! I miss you already Honeysuckle Cottage!!!

Another Excellent Stay
This was our 2nd time at Honeysuckle Cottage. The host is amazing! We were able to enjoy time with family and friends and it feels like home. We look forward to our next visit. I can't think of anywhere else that would be this ideal for us.

Quaint Cottage in a quiet neighborhood
Super adorable cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. Cottage is exactly as pics depict, super clean, nice thoughtful touches (i.e. fresh pastries upon arrival, toiletries in the bathroom) plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Easy access to restaurants, shopping, drugstores, etc..

Wonderful cottage in Cary!
We had the pleasure of finding the Honeysuckle Cottage due to a last minute cancellation of our previous booking. I am SO thankful we ended up at the cottage. Lindy was communicative and helpful with information about the area and made us feel welcome right away! The cottage is a great size, comfortable, clean, and has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked, washer and dryer in the main bathroom, and even books/games/magazines, etc for the family. The location was also very central and allowed us to get to all the areas we needed to during our stay. We highly recommend Honeysuckle Cottage and will be booking here when we visit in the future!!

WOW!
Exceptional property! We could tell by the listing this home was going to be comfortable and we were not disappointed. Honeysuckle Cottage felt just like home (maybe even better!!). We loved the location. We love to walk and hike and we did so every single day. The Greenway with miles and miles of trails is about a half mile away, plus you can walk all through the neighborhoods if you prefer. You can also walk to shops and restaurants and a park! The location is surprisingly quiet for being so close to it all. Honeysuckle Cottage was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We cook most of our meals at home and we had everything we needed, even storage containers for our leftovers. Lindy, our host, was so kind and accommodating. Her communication was great and she was available for any questions we had about the area. We would not hesitate to stay at Honeysuckle Cottage again!

Charming Cottage!
This home is charming. Exceptionally clean, conveniently located, and very comfortable. Master BR mattress was SO comfy. Towels were the best! (I had to go buy some!) Kitchen was well stocked with tools, pots, pans, etc. Very quiet location at end of cul-de-sac, yet very close to major roads. We're already looking forward to our next stay! Note that there is no ice maker, and no basic cable (only one smart TV).
