While we are not likely to be onsite to welcome you or during your stay, we are easily accessible and timely in responding via the booking platform website/apps between 6am to 9pm EST. We can also be reached via text message or phone call in the event of an emergency. Our phone number will be provided prior to check in.
This property is located in the Trinity Park neighborhood with tree lined streets and large homes just off of Duke's east campus. The property is walking distance to Duke Campus, downtown, a local playground, Whole Foods, and a variety of other restaurants.
Please be courteous and quiet as this is a family friendly neighborhood.
This rental is one of the 1 bedroom upstairs apartments (Unit B) of a large triplex building.
During the week, please park behind the building in the parking area accessed via the alleyway. You will see an area marked for Unit B and there you can pull up to two cars in (one behind another). At night and on weekends, you can also park in front of the home on Minerva Avenue. If parking behind the home, simply walk down the side of the house until you find the SIDE steps, walk up the porch to access via the door.
**If parking in front of the house, please be sure to follow all marked parking signs so you are not ticketed while school is in session.
The exterior porch door uses a code which will be sent to you the day of check in. The upstairs apartment entry door uses the August Home smart lock and can be accessed by sending us your cellphone information prior to check in. Once you provide your cellphone and we add your number, you will receive a text message with additional instructions on how to download the app. Upon arrival to the front door, simply open the August Home app and press the circle to unlock the front door (the phone will sense the door lock via Bluetooth). We will also send you a unique pin pad code either as a backup or for primary use if you prefer not to download the door lock app.
In the event that technology fails, we have a backup lockbox hidden on site for emergency access.
This rental is one of the upstairs apartments (Unit B) of a large triplex building and accessed via a shared entrance up the side porch. Only one other Airbnb guest from Unit C will share this entrance. At this point you will walk up an interior staircase and will come to a door marked Unit B.
Once inside your unit, the entire space is yours and no interior spaces are shared.
The unit opens up to a large bedroom to the right containing a comfy queen sized bed and room darkening curtains for a comfortable night's sleep. The kitchen and living room areas are to left. The kitchen contains new stainless steel appliances and basic pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Seating is available at a high top table.
The living room features a couch, coffee table and smart tv where you can access your streaming services.
Just off of the kitchen, you will find a full bath equipped with a tub/shower combo.
Parking is behind the building, accessed via an alleyway. You can park up to two cars in tandem (one behind the other) in the designated area for Apartment B.
** If parking on the street in front of the property, please follow all posted signs as a special permit is required.
The neighborhood is very walkable and bike able.
