Relaxing Getaway
Posted Oct. 28, 2024 on HomeAwayI requested relaxing and quiet for my birthday. This destination delivered! The cabin and property are both beautiful. The hosts do an awesome job making sure you have everything you need. Just bring food and personals and you are good to go! I do not like snow much but would love to come back and visit in the summer again.

Family getaway
Posted Oct. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a great time. The location was spot on. The hot tub was fantastic. I wish I would have done better research before staying there with a toddler (the ladder to the loft was just so tempting and fun for a 2 year old!)
The shower could use a redo or a new shower head, the pressure was great, but it points out at a weird angle and if you weren’t careful with the curtain you end up soaking the toilet.
Overall, fantastic stay and would definitely book again!

Great cabin in the woods
Posted Sep. 24, 2024 on HomeAwayThis cabin was just what we were looking for to get away from the SoCal heat. Very comfortable and furnished with everything we needed. The walk to river even led us to a herd of elk one evening.

Heavenly Get-Away
Posted Aug. 21, 2024 on HomeAwayWe so loved our time in your woodland retreat. The directions were great and the cabin was wonderful and spacious. I loved looking out at the gardens and trees. It was a treat to wander the trail to find the Cowlitz River roll by. We watched Saturday night's storm roll in and enjoyed all the sights and sounds of the woods. I loved snacking on blackberries off the deck. Everything was organized for an easy stay. It was a fun surprise to find my sisters had rented the Mt. Adams cabin as well. I guess we all have great taste. : )

Great getaway
Posted Jul. 25, 2024 on HomeAwayMy wife and I stayed in the St. Helen’s cabin for our honeymoon and it was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, quiet and comfortable, with private river access and near many beautiful trails. The hosts maintained a good balance of being warm and welcoming without being intrusive. We appreciate them opening up their cabin to us and would love to stay again in the future.
Thank you for the stay, and for giving us a call after you saw that we left something behind. That was very kind of you to reach out.
Take care.

Great Cabin to get away from the City
Posted Jul. 2, 2024 on HomeAwayThis cabin is pretty secluded so make sure you pay attention to the written the directions and don't rely exclusively on navigation. The area is quite beautiful with looming mountains in the background and a clear river stream nearby. The area is also quite centrally located between Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Ranier, and Mt. Adams so it makes a great base for seeing all three. Unfortunately, some of the main areas of Mt. St. Helens were closed due to wash out so would recommend prioritizing the other two. The Cabin is much bigger inside than it looks with room to comfortably sleep at least 4 people. The rate was pretty affordable as well though I wasn't thrilled with all the added Vrbo fees. Overall this place is well worth the trip, pet friendly, and the hot tub was a nice bonus!
