Amazing place to stay for snowboarding
Publié le 8 août 2023 sur HomeAwayJeff was an amazing host who made the process extremely streamlined and easy, he was great to speak to and answered all the questions we had regarding the stay. I would definitely recommend staying there as the host was located in a great space close to the town of Ohakune and within very good travel distance of Turoa and Whakapapa :)

Affordable winter getaway
Publié le 25 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed our 4day break in this cosy batch just a few mins drive from Ohakune and with very easy access to the Turoa mountain road. The accommodation was clean, warm and perfect for our family of 6, including the 8month old. Great kids room with toys, books and bunkbeds. No issues with anything, plenty of hot (very hot) water, and all the space we needed. Nice little garden for kids to roam, and for the train-spotters, the familiar overnight goods services which have become part of the mountain experience for us.
You could pay a lot more for a lot less (IMO). We'll be back.

Publié le 20 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWas a lovely cozy house. We were very happy. Only thing was there was carpet moths and maggots on the carpets. But the rest was lovely. We really enjoyed sitting around the open fire with hot chocolate and Marchmellows

Ski Trip
Publié le 14 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a good trip all round and the house fit 5x adults easily. Nice and close to Ohakune too which was great. Owners were quick to respond and pretty helpful with any issues we had.
Definitely got a bit cold at night and we had the fire running all the time, also was a bit dissapointed that the shower only got to luke warm, water from taps was hot, hopefully is an easy fix.
