Short stay but very pleasant
Publié le 2 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayA nice stay short term. Bathroom on main floor seems far away late at night but it's an older building! Dogs in backyard a bit annoying along fence line. A busy street. Cozy in backyard. Great hot tub! Thank you

Hi Marcia, we shared your review with the homeowner, who provided the following response: The hot tub is consistently maintained with appropriate chlorine levels to effectively eliminate germs and bacteria, ensuring a safe experience for all guests. Currently, the main circulating pump is not operational due to a broken control panel. A replacement has already been ordered, and we’re happy to share that the repair of the hot tub has also been successfully completed. Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was old but quaint. For our purposes it worked. The house did need a deep cleaning, white cabinets and refrigerator were very dirty. The one bathroom had sink problems and from what we could tell had the problem for a while. Like I said it met our needs.

Great Stay
Publié le 9 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house was perfect for our honeymoon getaway! It is close to all the things we wanted to do and super easy to get to. We had a trailer with a UTV and the driveway is perfectly spacious for turning around and navigating with a trailer.
The only change I would recommend are some guidelines for the hot tub. We don't usually operate one and had some troubles with the jets.
Overall, this was a great stay!!

Was great for Sturgis Rally. Garage great for the. Bikes and the hot tub for after
Gravel in drive is loose so care is needed
Only real problem is very loose railing on steep stairs going up

I’ve stayed in worse places but wasn’t happy
Publié le 2 août 2024 sur HomeAwayFirst night it rained and water came gushing in the front windows. AC would barely cool, the air filter was plugged. Only one couch to sit on, so if there are more than 2 people it would be uncomfortable.
If you’re a simple person, you’ll be fine.
On a positive note, the hot tub was great and the property is dog friendly. That’s the only nice thing o can say about the property.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We inspected the newly installed window and discovered a drainage problem, which will be addressed promptly.- We found the HVAC filter had been removed and placed next to its replacement. The old filter was still serviceable, but it has now been replaced with a new one. Lowering the thermostat might have helped improve your comfort, as the HVAC unit is new.- As seen in the listing photos, the property’s layout includes one couch, which might be less comfortable for larger groups, and we appreciate your feedback on this aspect.We’re glad you enjoyed the hot tub and that the property being dog-friendly was a positive aspect for you.Thanks for taking the time to leave your review!

I've seen frat houses in better conditions

The amount of built up dirt in every corner, fridge from the 80's, broken light fixtures, ripped couch, and backed up tub drain. We will be attempting to get our money back!

We would have promptly responded and been more than happy to address any concerns you may have had.- Upon inspection, one lamp was found unplugged, and another needed a simple twist of the light bulb to function properly.- The tub drain appeared to be working fine, but it was treated with a drain-opening cleaner just in case.- We are committed to maintaining the property and encourage guests to contact us immediately if any issues arise.Thank you for taking the time to leave a review!
