Short one night stay

We came in well after dark and the driveway is right next to “wrong” driveway and of course I turned too early and had to back our boat back out, in the pitch dark! All my fault but just be aware if arriving late. The only minor disappointment we had was we couldn’t find ann outdoor plug to charge our boat batteries. Just a heads up to others bringing their boats. Otherwise plenty of parking, clean home, great beds and we would return.

Great Rental House
Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family and I stayed with our two dogs for four nights & 5 days. The house was wonderful, being centrally located for us to go to both Lake Michigan and Lake Superior while we were there. We were there over the 4th of July, and we watched the fireworks in nearby Gladstone. The property is quiet, with no seen neighbors, which was really nice. We were able to enjoy a campfire every night. It is on a hwy, but the traffic wasn't too noisy, and the house is set back a ways from the road. The yard is not fenced in, so if you have dogs, I would definitely keep them leashed for safety. We had an issue with not being able to turn the AC up, I text the owner on the 4th of July, not expecting it to be fixed right then, being it was a holiday, but it was fixed within 10 minutes of me texting her. Overall we were very impressed and happy with our entire stay. We would stay again and would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
