Very large, clean and well appointed room with fun theme. I would stay again and recommend it to friends and family. Left at 6 am so I missed the breakfast.

The owners were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. They take great pride in their motel. It is older and could use some updates but it was very clean and comfortable. Will definately stay there again if we go through Raton.

Great little place to stay

Unique setting

Thanks for your feedback! The room you were in has new memory foam mattresses (we bought them January 2024), so we are going to check it ourselves and make sure it isn't defective in some way. (That said, none of our other guests have reported it as anything other than comfortable. In fact, many guests ask us where we get them because they want one of their own!) As to the TV, we are in the process of upgrading the TV's to slightly larger models (that will still fit on the TV stand), and some of our rooms do have somewhat larger TVs...but they will never be "big screen TV's" so keep that in mind! Wonderful boutique motel! Owners are so welcoming and helpful. Big rooms that are each decorated with a cute theme. VERY quiet and comfortable accommodations.

It’s disappointing that you did not enjoy your stay! We know that it was frustrating to you that you could not check in earlier than our stated check-in time of 3 PM MDT; we simply cannot accommodate early check-ins without sufficient notice and we state that clearly in our emails. We also include a number of suggestions for things to do in Raton if you arrive early, such as some of our local shops, the Old Pass Art Gallery, and the Raton museum. If you have any suggestions that might have made your stay in our vintage motel more comfortable, please reach out to us and let us know! We always welcome helpful feedback!
