Emplacement : Sites historiques
Les lieux culturels à visiter se trouvaient à proximité. Au retour des visites, le contexte de l'hôtel faisait en sorte que l'on pouvait se détendre et le personnel trouvait toujours du temps pour nous orienter sur les sites à visiter ou sur les restaurants recommandables et adaptés à nos moyens financiers.

The accommodations were fairly clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were run down. I had to switch rooms because the electrical panel shorted out. The area looked abit sketchy at first but was ok once you walked around abit. It is within walking distances of all of the sights and the bus/trains.

In hindsight, we would've booked another hotel for our stay in Ravenna. Unfortunately the quality of this hotel is quitte poor.
Here are the things we didn't like during our stay:
-Cleanliness of the room: the room didn't feel or look clean
-Furniture in the room: outdated & didn't match, a door of a wardrobe was missing. Very little care has been put in the rooms. Really old rusty elevator as well.
-Problems with airconditioning: during one night the airconditioning functioned really poorly and then shut off, we've heard other guests complain about this issue as well. When asking the staff next morning, we were informed that there was an issue with the airco and a repairmen was going to fix it. No apologies whatsoever. Later another member of the staff denied this and blamed us for not using the system correctly which we did.
-Communication with the staff: as an English speaker it was hard to communicate with most of the staff. We've also saw miscommunication between staff.
-Breakfast: nice that it was included but not a single fresh item displayed beside the fruit
Plusside was the location of the hotel which is close to the station and city centre. However you can find hotels in this area that are far better than the Roma hotel.

unfortunately the first night we had some trouble with the airconditioning pump, the second night was fixed and everything was running ok, our breakfast is divided in frash things made fresh every night and some pre-prepared kakes, every coffe and cappuccino we prepare personally, not the coffe machine, and if you want anotherone, we're always pleased to offer it. we desagree with your opinion

Did the job as we were only there to get a cruise the next day, staff helpful and nice breakfast provided in the morning
