It was a great rental
Publié le 9 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect location just minutes from Lake Placid and Saranac lake. Very private with plenty of wildlife to watch every morning. Cabin is very cozy and not needing anything. We will return !!!!!

Location & House, On point!
Publié le 18 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family (husband, two kids, two dogs) & my in laws all stayed here, and we ABSOLUTELY loved it. It was really the most perfect location, in the middle of Saranac Lake and Lake Placid . We were very close to Aldi & close to Hannafords for grocery shopping. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The property manager and the property owners were great to deal with and they checked in with us when we got there to make sure all was good! This was probably the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at! We will be back, for sure!

Winter getaway
Publié le 21 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had an amazing stay at Log Haven. This home is beautiful, spacious and very clean. The surrounding outdoor area was peaceful with a view of woods and mountains. The porch would be great in the warmer weather. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed as well as many extra towels and blankets. The location of the home is ideal for quick travel to Lake placid and Saranac area. I would definitely stay here again and as a pet owner being able to bring our dog was a bonus.

"our mountain home"
Publié le 9 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayFirst of all, thank you for sharing this wondrous property. As others have said, the location is perfect! An added bonus was that it was close to our favorite sandwich shop. There was something for everyone...the 2-year-old loved running in the flat field and waking up early to look for "animals", and his dad enjoyed the conversations at the local 4-stooled bar down the road. After a day of hiking, or exploring Lake Placid, the 2-year-old wanted to go back to his "mountain home". The cabin was clean, spacious, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Rudy was a perfect host in that his communication was second to none. He answered inquiries promptly. Thanks again for making our trip to the mountains memorable. We hope to return!

Perfect Location and Size
Publié le 5 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis was in the perfect location. It is between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, providing great access to all the highlights of the area. It was secluded. It was very clean. It was much bigger than I was expected. It is a great size for a larger family gathering. We had 3 sets of couples in the family and it was perfect. There were two living room areas which was a nice surprise. Plenty of room to spread out. The fire pit was a great bonus as well. This house had more amenities than any other house we've rented in the past. Would stay here again for sure!
