DeVere Wokefield exceeded our expectations considerably. We upgraded to a room in the Mansion House and the view from the window was beautiful. Even though there were wedding parties both nights we were there, we would not have known it had we not met people during breakfast and photo shoots. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The Mansion House could not have been a more lovely surprise. Inexpensive taxi ride to Reading to see the Silchester Eagle and the UK copy of the Bayeaux Tapestry. Very highly recommend!

Honest review

Check in was painful, charged me the wrong rate then paid in two transactions. Then again upon checking out they tried to charge me again after it had already been paid for. They don’t seem to acknowledge people in the separate reception in the new build. Not the fastest service in any part of the hotel even when busy. Sound proofing is however perfect and the parties that were on could not be heard from the rooms. Also very clean and comfortable
