Perfect for Disconnecting
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe only reason we can't rate this higher is the cabin needs a deep cleaning (kitchen cabinets, fridge and more) and the kitchen chairs and outside chairs a refresh to feel more comfy.
The place is the most perfect location and the space was perfect for us. We went to the Beaver Meadows Ranch for dinner and expected it to be price. Surprisingly it was not. We went to the Tavern for trivia night and that was a blast. Other than that we walked trails around the cabin and outside of the area. We appreciated the hummingbird feeder as that was something we did every day and identified at least 4 types!
Everyone should get away from things and enjoy the peace and quite in this remote area!
Host was communicative...I recommend sending info via text day of because of reception in the mountains.

The area was beautiful
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was beautiful, but taking your shoes off in a cabin? You need to let people know there isn't grocery shopping. Maybe consider adding a couple throw blankets and maybe a floor fan.

We are glad you enjoyed the beauty of our riverfront cabin. Thanks for your feedback. There’s a large ceiling fan & small portable fan which is typically all that is needed with the cool mountain air at nearly 9000 ft. The nearest big grocery store is King Soopers on N College in FoCo. There are two small grocery stores in the village. Sorry you didn’t like our rules for bringing dogs-with 2 dogs & 4 people the floors can get quite dirty if shoes aren’t removed-especially since we’re right by the river. We wish you all the best and hope you have an enjoyable rest of your summer. Take Care.

Wonderful Cabin!
Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayCrystal Lakes is a gorgeous community. The cabin is perfect for a long weekend or an extended stay. It is very comfortable and well-appointed for two people traveling with a dog.
Communication with the owners was fantastic. All instructions associated with check-in/out, and the Crystal Lakes community were very clear.
We particularly enjoyed taking daily walks, fishing in the private lakes, and drinking coffee on the deck while listening to the river. What a treat! A big "thank you" to the owners for sharing this place!

Secluded and beautiful area
Publié le 12 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayCute cabin located in a quiet area right next to the river. We enjoyed the seating area right by the water. We saw several deer and a spotted fawn, and all different types of birds. We loved being able to bring our dog with us and take lots of walks. The only downside was the cleanliness, there were several dirty items when we arrived, the coffee pot was only rinsed out and still had coffee residue from the previous guests, several knives in the knife rack were dirty. Very basic kitchen supplies to cook with, but we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a great weekend in a hidden gem of an area. Would love to go back and just sit on the deck and watch the birds and listen to the river!

Glad you enjoyed the wildlife and our awesome location by the river. Sorry if the previous guests didn’t clean the dishes-washing them & putting them away is expected of all guests. Will ensure cleaning crew understands to thoroughly clean coffee maker. Thanks for the feedback. Enjoy your summer!
