A week on the river
Publié le 7 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayMy wife and our two dogs had an amazing time! It was peaceful and quiet and chatted with amazing people on our daily walks. We had heard rumors about moose in the area and actually got to see a young bull walk past the cabin on our last day. What a finish!

Nice quaint cabin with incredible views!

The only reason I gave the cleaniness a middle score is it could use a deep cleaning (light fixtures in kitchen, light bulbs not all working), refrigerator door handles could be deep cleaned as well.
Otherwise very nice place .. lots of walking (even in the snow) ... would highly recommend.

So thrilled you had a wonderful stay and that you were able to get away and enjoy the beauty of our cabin and the surrounding area. It's so amazing to have all the hikes available right outside the door to enjoy! Thanks for the feedback, light bulbs in kitchen have all been replaced, light fixtures in kitchen cleaned, fridge door handles deep cleaned. Thanks again!

River Singing!

Nice and remote

Perfect for Disconnecting
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe only reason we can't rate this higher is the cabin needs a deep cleaning (kitchen cabinets, fridge and more) and the kitchen chairs and outside chairs a refresh to feel more comfy.
The place is the most perfect location and the space was perfect for us. We went to the Beaver Meadows Ranch for dinner and expected it to be price. Surprisingly it was not. We went to the Tavern for trivia night and that was a blast. Other than that we walked trails around the cabin and outside of the area. We appreciated the hummingbird feeder as that was something we did every day and identified at least 4 types!
Everyone should get away from things and enjoy the peace and quite in this remote area!
Host was communicative...I recommend sending info via text day of because of reception in the mountains.

The area was beautiful
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was beautiful, but taking your shoes off in a cabin? You need to let people know there isn't grocery shopping. Maybe consider adding a couple throw blankets and maybe a floor fan.

We are glad you enjoyed the beauty of our riverfront cabin. There is a large ceiling fan & small portable fan which is typically all that is needed with the cool mountain air at nearly 9000 ft. The nearest big grocery store is King Soopers on N College in FoCo. There are two small grocery stores in the village. Sorry you didn’t like our rules for bringing dogs.
