Property was very clean and comfortable. Would be a five star but only one issue, the living room window blind was not working and the owner had a note that it was broken. No privacy because of blind not closing. We would stay there again when blind is replaced for privacy.

Dad n daughters adventure

Spent a week working from the Lazy Moose and enjoying the beautiful Custer Gallatin NF each evening. Well equipped kitchen, nice grill, and friendly host. Red Lodge is a nice little town with everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Pleasant condo convenient to town

We were in town for a photography workshop at a nearby field station. The condo was perfect for us—a bedroom, sitting area and full bath upstairs for my husband and me and a bedroom and full bath downstairs for our friend. The kitchen seemed fine although we didn’t use it much. We explored some restaurants in town and recommend Prerogative Kitchen and One-Legged Magpie in particular, especially for vegetarians. The host was very communicative. The house instructions were good, especially how to get it cooled down on warm evenings. (There is AC in the upstairs sitting room but not in the bedroom, but the air cooled off at night and the box fan helped a lot. ) Clean and we’ll stocked. Thanks!

The accommodations were great! The condo was neat, clean and very accommodating. It would have been nice to have Uber or cab access as it was too far from downtown to walk. We were very satisfied.

Great Property

Property was amazing. Small mishap with being locked out due to dead battery key pad. Lack of quick communication. Of property manager late at night. Had to break small window to enter and have damage repaired after. Not a big cost and still enjoyed our stay. Property manager could use a little education and better emergency response but other than that would reocmmend.

First, we responded to Chris within TWO minutes (at 1050pm mind you) and had the solution to his problem since we have a lock-pad with a spare key for these types of situations. He instead chose to call VRBO and did not receive our timely responses until AFTER he decided to break a window on our property to let himself back in… almost 45 minutes after we had responded to him. He also did not communicate with us further before deciding to break the window. He did not pay anything for repairs and now after 2.5 weeks it is STILL not repaired due to materials shortage for this size window. Other than cleaning up the glass, he offered no help or financial assistance for the $400 glass repair and we received nothing from VRBO. Plus it is a security issue that has inconvenienced all of our other subsequent guests since he broke the window and we have plastic taped over the ground level window currently. He has not even had the humility to apologize for any of this or own any responsibility and has blamed us and VRBO for this “mishap.” He has even acted like we should be grateful that he chose to break this particular window and not other more expensive ones when the entire situation would have been avoided if he could have given us even 2 minutes to respond before calling VRBO and missing our messages. He is completely unwelcome in our property again. Consider this experience before choosing to rent your place to him.

Red Lodge getaway

Large rooms and lots of space. Clean, good amenities. On edge of golf course and just a minute into town. Views of ski hill that is only about a 15 minute drive away. Easy to contact owner, no problems check in / check out. We had a great stay

Wish we had more time there. It was wonderful and more than we could have imagined. The owners were extremely helpful answering questions for us as we were preparing for our trip.
