Great Summer Location

We stayed overnight a few nights during July to be closer to scenic fly fishing & hiking spots just on the edge of town, while visiting jobsites nearby for our architecture practice. Everything (in & out of town) is close by, but not as noisy (as the downtown area can be with certain touristy crowds).
As NM residents, we appreciate Red River for its quiet, laid back land of enchantment attitude with kind, helpful locals. The owners of Moutain View Lodge embody this!

Cozy + comfortable. Well organized Kitchen set-up!
Posted Mar. 16, 2022 on HomeAwayThis visit was short but sweet and affordable New Mexico stay. . The kitchen has all that’s needed for simple meal preparations and all was well organized. Our hats off to our host + hostess for caretaking and upgrading this older hotel with modern easy to use coffee Pot and appliances.. Perfect for a couple or small family on a budget. All a good blessing indeed/.
