Lovely dog friendly bungalow near the sea
Posted Jun. 25, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a lovely week’s holiday in this well equipped bungalow near the seaside. The hosts were great at keeping in touch with us prior to our holiday and were informative and responsive to any queries we had. We did appreciate that, thank you.
The bungalow was a dream for our family, my husband, me, our dog and a puppy. The dogs really enjoyed the secure back garden. Sarah and Ian also had a crate, dog bed and water bowls which we could use, this was really thoughtful.
The location of the bungalow is superb, not far from wonderful beaches, including our favourite at Perranporth, nearby Tehidy Woods and easy access to places like Truro and Falmouth.
Would highly recommend this bungalow and hosts Sarah and Ian. We wished we’d booked a longer stay 😆

Super bungalow
Posted Sep. 26, 2023 on HomeAwayA spotlessly clean and well equipped bungalow in a quiet location and with a completely enclosed garden. A 30 minutes drive can take you anywhere south of Newquay on the north coast, or across to Falmouth or Penzance. Would definitely recommend

Property in good location but needs updating
Posted Aug. 1, 2023 on HomeAwayThe location of the property is very good. Good sized garden for my dog. The wet room is ideal for my disabled daughter, but the beds are not suitable for people with disabilities. They are too soft. The sofas are not very comfortable, the tv is very dated the chairs in the dining area need cushions as without they are not comfortable. I have been before and found it to be very disappointing this time.
Overall the property is in need of a complete update
Would have benefited if the owner had got in touch before we arrived not after as I could have taken my own pillows and not relied on there being enough as we only had one each.

Heather, was devastated to see you scored our bungalow 2 stars as we strive for and are usually awarded 5 stars by our guests. We have never had less than 4 stars before. Indeed you awarded us 5 stars, when you visited previously. I feel it’s a real shame that your holiday this time was not as enjoyable. I imagine you spent more time in the bungalow this time due to the unseasonably inclement weather in Cornwall. In terms of the specific comments you have made it is really helpful to get feedback from our guests and in response to your feedback I have now purchased new dining chairs, cushions and and a smart TV/oak TV stand for the bungalow. We always had additional pillows available to our guests and so it’s a real shame to did not email me at the time as I would have directed you to the additional pillows. In terms of the beds I appreciate they are not specifically designed for people with disabilities but they are firm Silentnight mattresses and we do change them each year. I guess softnesses is a matter of opinion. As my husband is tall wheelchair user we needed a higher sofa. It is only a couple years old. We continue to update the property and always get excellent feedback on how clean it is. I will post photos of the changes we have made in response to you feedback shortly.

Illogan holiday
Posted Jun. 10, 2023 on HomeAwayProperty was as advertised. The bungalow was spotlessy clean and had everything we required.The location was perfect lovely country park 3/4 mile away for dog walking. Safe enclosed garden. Local shop pub and take aways a short distance away. Easy access for travelling to other areas.

Another great holiday
Posted May 14, 2023 on HomeAwayThis was our second visit to this very clean and comfortable bungalow, a real home from home. Great for local dog walks (especially to the pub) and the beach is only 5 mins away by car.
Great location to get anywhere, bakery in Portreath is great for parties and Sunday lunch at the Old Quay House in Hayle is amazing. We will be back, Sonia, Dave and Bailey 🐶
