Cozy cabin stay

Great spot for families
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place had everything we needed and more. It was perfect for our siblings reunion. The location was great. Close to local attractions. Quiet area. We took full advantage of the pool, catch & release pond as well as the sand volleyball court. Would book again.

Beautiful house, no extras!
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful home and setting! Six large bedrooms, each having their own Jacuzzi tub, two large enclosed porches. The The issue is there Few supplies like trash bags and detergent and dish soap. The comforters on the bed are very worn and thin. There were no change of sheets or extra blankets that I can find in most rooms. The pots and pans were in poor shape and no working can opener. The refrigerator was broken. It was missing a drawer, and the shelves were broken. There were no games or cards or normal things you see at A VRBO. So I would summon up beautiful house no extras.

Plenty of kitchen dishes. Only thing lacking were not enough fry pans but we made it work. Overall great place. Loved the screened porches. Also there were two large crockpots.

Family getaway
Publié le 8 août 2022 sur HomeAwayOur stay at Timeless Memories was wonderful. Our kids and grandkids loved it. The cabin fit all 18 of us. A bedroom and bathroom per family. Only thing that we would suggest, there needs to be more pots, pans, and skillets in the kitchen.

Nice House, Lots of room

The King bed in the master on the middle floor had a really bad mattress and mattress cover was plastic. For the price that we paid for the weekend, I would have thought we would get better sleep on a comfortable bed.

Overall a decent stay
Publié le 29 août 2021 sur HomeAwayThe cabin fit our family perfectly. There was enough parking and entry into the cabin was easy. The 2 screened in decks and living areas was a hit with everyone. We loved that each room had their own bathroom and there was enough space so we didn’t feel we were on top of each other. The location, once you actually get to the cabin was great. It was 3 cabins down from the pool, walking trails and lake. I say “once you get to the cabin” because it’s quite a drive from the entry of the gated resort to the cabin. There’s a lot of hills, twist and turns to get to the area where the cabin is. The streets are pretty narrow and there’s no street lighting at night so we never left at night and tried to be back before dark. That is something that people should know upfront. A few concerns: cabin definitely needs some painting inside, chipped painting in a lot of spots in the house. There was a whole in the screen upstairs deck. Some bathrooms didn’t have hand soap, some did. There was cigarette butts in the grill outside with charcoal and lighting fluid left next to the grill. Some family members found hair in the towels and bed sheets. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the community is great just the cabin itself needs some updating and better cleaning.

We do however wish we had known about those issues that way we could have taken care of them, while you were there. The maintenance issues are being looked into, so we can get them fixed.
