Amazing stay

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Viesca. The setting is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Concetta welcomed us and kindly showed us around, talked us through the facilities... The pool is lovely, and it was great to be able to play tennis as well. We did not try any of the spa treatments, but there was a really good selection available. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The only negative thing we have to say about it/Viesca is that breakfast was rather slow. We often had to go inside and order from the bar/find waiters, as they would not necessarily come to your table. The cooked breakfast was not quick, and a better selection would be appreciated (e.g. eggs benedict or royale on nice bread rather than just boiled/scrambled/poached eggs). We look forward to coming back one day - definitely one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at!

Nice property and we enjoyed staying in a 3 bedroom cottage there. However, we had a problem with water not being hot enough in the showers. It would start hot and then drop to a much colder temperature. It was problematic for us. Especially for kids. We reported this to reception twice and never had anyone to check the situation.

Light on room AC was not able to turn off and very bright, had a hard time sleeping. AC unit in room did not work. Checked out one day early due to above, staff initially agreed with Expedia for an refund and then denied refund. We moved to another location.
