Newly remodeled and clean
Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayExactly what was advertised. Newly remodeled and clean. Much nicer for a family than staying in a hotel. Location is close to Virginia Street and the casinos. While the two parking spots at the property were always taken, there was always nearby street parking.

One of the sheets had blood stains on them upon our arrival.
Limited lighting and nightstand space.
Terrible shower, always had a hard time turning on and off the water. Fluctuating hot and cold. Cannot even take a normal shower. That was the most frustrating part.
Floor is dusty.
No detergent available even though it showed that there were washing machines. Even asked our host and was told there were no detergent available.
Pots and pans all scratched up.
Host was not very flexible with later check out.

Duplex with Interrupted Sleep
Publié le 23 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe heard footsteps and crystal clear conversations through the bedroom and living room walls. Living room neighbor sounds were not a bother to us but the bedroom sound were highly disappointing. We planned to sleep in due to my son's basketball schedule and this was impossible. I reached out to the host about this, as well as dirty plates at top of stack, light bulb in bathroom out, and living room clock 10 minutes behind. He said he would "pass the message to the person in charge" and that "we'd get back to (me) tomorrow" and never did. There was a used sponge that stunk in the sink. Housekeeper banged on the door when the living room clock showed 10 min before check out. We were enjoying the cool living room until we had to check out. Bottom line, sleep is important and it was not good.
