Hotel in the old part of the city, character of the property relevant to the area. Wasnt the friendliest of people when checking in. Later in the evening tried some food in their restaurant and it was excellent as were the two young ladies working in there. The hotel room was very basic but clean.

We were a large group staying at this hotel fopr the Requena Wine Fair - over 20 of us in all. The hotel is perfectly fine for an overnight stay we have been many times previously. However.....on the Saturday morning there was one man cooking and serving breakfast and also taking payments for checking out. Absolutely impossible. I must add he was very calm and cheerful about it all but how on earth can this be allowed to happen when we were all booked in? It is not as if we just turned up? It was badly organised and disappointing

A great hotel!

Awesome rooms and we had a great view as well. Located in the old part of town which made it more enjoyable. The room was fantastic and enjoyed every bit of my stay there.

A quaint stay

Posted Nov. 1, 2015 on Hotels
Very difficult to find especially as roads were so narrow & twisty. Host was pleasant, parking was difficult as in the square, we had to park across the road to the hotel in a no parking area! Hotel was old fashioned but quaint, quite comfortable for our needs, as only stayed one night on way to southern Spain.

Very Spanish hotel with character

Posted Sep. 19, 2015 on Hotels
Situated in the old part of the town and not easy to find (direction signs can be misleading!). Nice place to stay, the hotel is situated in a nice square and has a good restaurant (either seperate or in the hotel). Parked car free in the square, but could be a problem in peak season. Carlos was very friendly and helpful. Hotel had a lift. Make sure you visit the caves (4€ per person) just up from the hotel! If you like wine, you can buy from the bodega shop just off the square. Lots of bodegas around in the area.

The old in the new

Posted Aug. 25, 2015 on Hotels
We had a little trouble finding the hotel as it was tucked away in the old town. It was nice sitting in the square and eating a lovely meal. The room was something else with that comfortable four poster bed, something that you only see in films. this is a wine area and we were sorry we did not have more time to spend in the area.

Genuine Spanish small town hotel.

Pros: Situation and facilities
Cons: Its fine as it is
Location: Hotel is in walking distance of everything you would want to see in the town and easily accessible to the vineyards. Caves, medieval centre andraunts
Hard to find as its in the medieval centre, but great when there. Follow the Donna Anita Hotel signs and its opposite. Great charm, lovely 4 poster bed with excellent cotton sheets, great bathroom and lift access - much better than its 2 star rating. Staff great and helpful - our Spanish is limited. We would happily stay again if in the area.

We only had a one night stay but we were lucky enough to catch the procession of the towns Saint being carried through the streets.Lovely. The hotel was very nice, situated over the wine caves, which we visited before we left.Carlos was very helpfull, supplying us with the towns booklet and history. Delightful short break.
