Publié le 12 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse is well equipped, comfy beds, ability to have coffee on the porch looking into the mountains and enjoying a bon fire end of November was unexpected but enjoyable! Only issue was not enough wash cloths for our entire stay. Very happy with communication after an item was left! Recommend this for any stay.

Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time at Breezy Oaks! Great location for hopping onto trailheads within 20-45min drive. Quiet and serene with great outdoor space. Cleanliness score only for kitchen appliances/availability. For a home that can host a 7 person family and is at least ten miles from closest grocery store, the utensil and kitchen stocking was fair to poor. Hard to find a cookie sheet, no aluminum foil, bare minimum for pots/pans. Only 5 spoons and 6 forms.

Sleeping not the best
Publié le 1 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property says that can accommodate up to 8 people, but should clarify that the bunk beds are just for children or light weight people (<100lbs). Also, the bed upstairs needs a new mattress, was bumpy and uncomfortable. Also know that the two bedrooms are in each room so if you are not in any of those rooms becomes inconvenient

Hi Marco, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review: - While the listing photos accurately reflect the home, we appreciate your feedback and will consider adding a note to clarify that the bunk beds are best suited for children or lighter-weight individuals. - There’s also a pull-out bed and air mattress available for extra guests, which we hope you were able to make use of during your stay. - Mattress comfort can be subjective, but we’ll still inspect the upstairs mattress to ensure it meets our standards, and will replace it if necessary. - The layout with bathrooms inside the bedrooms is typical of rural homes in the area, but we'll look into updating the listing to make sure future guests are fully aware.We have worked very hard to provide a clean and comfortable place for guests to enjoy and will continue to do all we can to provide the best possible stay for our guests!

Perfect for a quiet getaway

The hosts are very responsive and the house was made very welcoming and comfortable. I highly reccommend this for your next weekend or getaway retreat.

Quiet, comfortable, clean

Our kids enjoyed the bunk area and the game room upstairs. It was in a very peaceful setting yet not too far to visit places like Shenandoah National Park or Charlottesville. We also appreciated the quick communication we received from the hosts when we reached out prior to our stay.

Beautiful country escape!!!

The home was exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortably (& beautifully!) furnished. No matter what time of year you’re visiting, I would highly recommend taking advantage of the breathtaking front yard view for a sunrise or sunset photo op!

Quiet and comfortable
Publié le 17 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis place was large enough for 3 adults and 2 children. The beds were super comfy and the kids sleeping area was adorable. We had all the necessities needed. The yard was large enough for the kids to play and run off some energy. Only negative i found was the furniture placement in the living isnt set up to watch t.v. or movies. But that was only a minor inconvenience because there is so much to do and see in the area.
