Prize in the Prairie

We had a wonderful time in this Queen Anne home. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. They provided a big delicious breakfast. We so enjoyed visiting with them!

Charming Victorian decor, pretty, a trip back in time. Breakfast is nice but there is nothing within 20 miles for lunch or dinner, so bring a picnic.

Disappointed

The lady was nice on the phone but NOBODY was home when I arrived AND Would Not be until the next day. There was only wifi in part of the house and the breakfast plan was completely unorganized. I could not recommend this to anyone.i had to leave and drive 30 miles to another hotel and pay 100 dollars for it.I would hope for a refund. Please let me know on that

I regret that you were disappointed with our facility. Our hostess lives a block away and that is why we ask to be notified 15 minutes before your arrival. My understanding is that she arrived shortly and tried to make arrangements for your breakfast but you declined to be served. We strive to please our guests and your comments show you were not satisfied. We will arrange for a refund .

We had the whole house to ourselves which was a little weird and the breakfast was served in a cafe a half block away. It was really good and worth the walk. 🙂

For now, there are no restaurants in Rexford. A diner will open soon. Even with that, this has been one of my favorite hotels anywhere I have stayed.
