Publié le 24 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything about this charming home and its hosts was an absolute delight. Nestled atop a hill, you get lovely views when seated in multiple spots around the house. There is a wonderful 360° viewpoint a short walk from the home, and its central location makes it a breeze to get anywhere by bus or car. Me and my family were able to many meals at home in the well appointed kitchen, utilizing local meats and produce. We are all looking forward to the next visit we will make, and are sure to be booking this home again!

Charming Mid Century Modern home
Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay! Lots of windows with beautiful views. Plenty of room for a family of 5 adults. Owner- built house with many original elements. High on the hillside overlooking the harbor. Off street parking. Bus stop next door.

Girls Trip!!
Publié le 22 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay on our girls getaway!! There were 7 of us which made us worried about the 1 shower but it was totally fine! We were welcomed right away with a kind gentleman and when we couldn’t figure out how to use the shower, our question was answered right away! Note: if you’re from the US ask about how to turn the shower on, quite different for us! It was wonderful and would return!!

Great location to explore Reykjavik

1 week in genuine mid-century modern
Publié le 19 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house was a joy to stay in. A beautifully built genuine mid-century modern house with a great location. Easy access to downtown Reykjavik and highways made it convenient for all of our activities.
The owner was pleasure to meet and work with for check-in and gave us a tour of the house.
I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Perfect for our family; just as described

Plenty of space to spread out; comfortable beds/bedding; ample towels, equipped kitchen; outdoor areas. Gorgeous views of harbor, mountains, glaciers, just a few minutes' drive to central Reykjavik.

Nice place for a family
