full transparency-not here... until you check in

I booked this stay through a third party site. This hotel is going through MAJOR renovations and that is not disclosed on the site or in the pricing. To pay full price for that type of renovation, expecting to have access to things you in fact do not, loud construction all day (early morning until evening hours), and the rooms are very much out dated and dirty and stained.

Do not stay unless you like lots of loud noise

The hotel was stuffy and old. My bathtub looked like a crime scene. It was not on the website, but the hotel was undergoing massive construction for renovations. I would not have chosen this hotel if I had known ahead of time how much construction noise I would be subjected to. Extremely loud during day time hours, woke me up at 8 am every day.

Nice hotel, you could hear some traffic on the highway late at night. Hard to get to, no entry from the highway. The breakfast buffet was great!

The room was just okay. We got there Friday evening and they only have one luggage cart so wee had to make several trip to the car. The young man working the desk did help carry our luggage to the room. The bathroom door was falling apart. The door was held together at the bottom with screws and parts of the door was falling on the floor. The tv lost power or the cable signal every time the refrigerator cut on. The breakfast was good and the staff were very nice.

Due to the construction/repairs occurring at the hotel, there was dust & debris in the stairwell, on the stairs & rails & on the carpet of the 1sr floor of the building. Also, the elevator call buttons did not light up on the 3rd floor & there was a note on the elevator door frame instructing you to go down the stairs to the 2nd floor in order to get the elevator ( not good for 2 persons who have disabilities). Lastly, we left our room in the am after staying at the hotel the 1st night, the maid saw us leave as she was outside the room in the hallway. When we returned to the hotel for our 2nd night, the bed was unmade & dirty used towels in the bathroom were still on the floor.

Staff is wonderful, breakfast excellent, but the rooms are antiquated and in need of a significant upgrade. The bathroom had a cracked toilet, wallpaper coming off the wall, a rusty drain cover sitting on the side of the tub, and a mildewy shower curtain. On my last of 4 days there, I saw a pile of notices to the guest on the front desk outlining upcoming work on the property.
