We had a wonderful time at the Linden Row Inn. We loved the charm of the inn, the history, and the excellent staff, who were very helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend this for a unique experience in a historical inn in Richmond.

The public parts of the Inn are really charming (lobby/lounge, courtyard). The room we had, though, seemed like what you would find at a basic budget motel - small, dark, in need of a refresh. The bathroom had a water-stained acoustic tile ceiling. The furniture and fixtures were basic and outdated. The restaurant looked nice, but unfortunately was closed during our entire stay. The location is great and walkable, convenient to everything. Whether the cost is worth it (vs. the equally convenient chain hotels, which were significantly cheaper) really depends on what you value - your room vs. the public areas.

We stay here whenever we can when we visit RVA. Charming, historic property, love the link with the Poe museum!

My wife and I had a very nice stay in this antique-filled historic property in the center of the Fan District, near several excellent restaurants. We were surprised at how quite our room was in the middle of the city even on a Friday night, and we very much enjoyed our early brunch in the restaurant on Saturday morning. There is no on-site parking but lots of free parking was available on the street nearby, and a large parking garage provided in-an-out parking for $7.00 per day. A perfect getaway in Richmond.
