After reading some of these petty reviews it proves to me that people will complain about anything. If you believe you should be treated like royalty then spend your money like royalty and stay at a Hilton for $200.00 a night. I travel all over the country and stayed at this motel for several weeks on two different occasions, had zero issues, and would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Richmond. I stayed at two other motels close to the same rate before finding this one and it was by FAR the best. If you’re on a budget and looking for a place to stay in Richmond, don’t waste your time with the other motels with the similar rates.

I always stay here when I’m in town for work. The staff is great and the rooms are extremely nice and clean. I will continue to stay each time because it’s affordable too.

There was no power at the hotel. We were not allowed to check in. The hotel told us to call Expedia to get our refund. I called Expedia and the agent would not give me a refund. Worst experience with your company. All I wanted was my refund because the hotel I booked had no power and would not let me and my child check in. I will never book anything from Expedia and not will my family. Lisa Gardner

We have stayed at this particular hotel before and had a good experience, however, last night was so different. The building lost power shortly after arriving due to a storm. We opted to wait a while to see if it would be restored and went on to dinner. Upon returning back, we were told there was no power on this side of the highway for a large section of businesses and that the hotel was at the mercy of the power company as to when it would be repaired. Thinking it might be just a couple of hours, we stayed. At 11:30, my husband left the building to go to the car and found this hotel was the only one without electricity. He quickly made arrangements at the next place down the street and we left. As we asked about any kind of restitution, we were met with a shrug and a comment that we would have to contact the manager, who we found out was the clerk’s mother. This property was completely unprepared for a power outage…no backup generators or other offers. Needless to say, that was our last stay.

Outside was not inviting room was terrible stains, open vent fan in bathroom no cover, chair all ripped up musty smell. Not worth the money move on to a better place. I do not recommend at all. Wish I could have gotten a refund
