Hard to fault this place, the room was excellent, extremely well appointed with some nice little touches to welcome you. The place itself has been sympathetically furnished and decorated, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had.

Received complimentary cake, biscuits and fresh milk on arrival. Aswell as advice on what to do and see and good places to dine. Can’t fault the place, also received a complimentary bottle of Prosecco with a card wishing me a happy birthday. Very thoughtful of them. Enjoy.

Another wonderful stay

Drink making facilities (teapot, nespresso machine, milk frother) and mini fridge with fresh milk and water. Also a decanter of complimerary sherry in the room. Every detail has been thought of and you feel as if you have stepped back in time. We were shown to our room and 5 minutes later a plate of homemade cakes were delivered. Breakfast was the best one we have had. Fresh fruit and yogurt, full English and toast. Also lighter options like eggs benedict or toasted banana bread with yogurt and honey. Everything was perfect. If you want a high quality stay then this is the perfect place.

Hotel was well located and breakfast offering was great.
Nice little touches like homemade shortbread biscuits in the bedroom, plenty of books to read and lovely lounge areas.

We had the warmest of greetings from Ben. Both he and Richard, the owner were incredibly helpful and efficient. The breakfast was excellent.
We can totally unreservedly recommend. Great value for money as well!
