The owners were very welcoming and helpful on tips around the area for an interesting experience. Food was over the top delicious and the rooms were cozy and clean.

It was quiet and peaceful in the country. We loved sitting out on the screened porch area. Such a beautiful place and the location is central to many places we wanted to visit.

We are sorry your experience was not 100%. We definitely endeavour to be sure that all guests have an elegant and enjoyable experience. We do provide listings of the plentiful activities in the area but perhaps your experience was related to the Day of the week ( Sunday). We hope to see you again in future.

What a gem! Stayed for an evening with my 10-year-old and the property was quiet and child-friendly. David graciously showed us their vast, serene grounds, introduced us to the neighbour's horses and ponies, and gave us a teaching tour of their plentiful garden. There is a mini fridge to store some small food items if needed, and a library with plenty of books and games. Alicia's breakfast was outstanding, with fresh farm-to-table ingredients. The hosts provided the comfortable countryside stay we were looking for. We will definitely return when time permits.

Quiet and Historic
Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HotelsHarlem Stonegate is a beautiful building, and the renovations make it as comfortable as can be expected, provided that you know what to expect when booking an historic lodging. Naturally, rooms will be small and there won't be modern conveniences such as central AC, elevators, etc.
The breakfast here was lovely and the proprietors friendly and accommodating.

Amazing welcome by both Alicia and Dave. Soooooo welcoming into their beautiful home. Rooms cozy and romantic, amazing beds. Slept so well and woke up to a a very serene balcony breakfast. With birds chirping and soft music in the background. Thank you again for this magical experience.
