Nice cabin
Publié le 10 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayNice spot to stay on the outskirts of main Branson. Best hot water and pressure we've had at a rental down here yet. Easy to check in, get hooked up to wifi, etc. Had all the hubs for entertainment on the tv's, which was nice to keep kids entertained at times. Decent kitchen setup if you like to cook in like us. In cabin laundry was good, as we have littles and everything gets dirty quick. The hvac was nice, as we like it cool at night. Would stay again.

Big Cedar area Getaway
Publié le 23 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayCozy cabin located near Big Cedar Lodge. Very comfortable & clean cabin amongst many similar properties. The only thing keeping this from getting 5 stars was the property is showing its' age & could use a face lift on the outside.

The trouble started with the smell. Then the plumbing backed up, all over the house.

It turned out a skunk had nested and sprayed under the porch and the smell was intolerable. Rent Branson offered air fresheners and to change the air filters in the morning but we couldn't have slept there. The smell was so bad. After a couple of hours they offered an alternate cabin, which seemed fine overnight, but less than 24 hours later, that cabin's plumbing backed up, leaving 1/2 inch of standing water all over the floor throughout the cabin and we couldn't use any sinks, toilets, the hot tub, or other water. Being 4+ hours from home, we had to pay for a hotel and meal out, instead of enjoying the rental and cooking in as we'd planned. Repeated, polite conversations by phone and email with Rent Branson resulted in an offer to refund only for one night, which equalled about 20% of our total cost, not even the taxes or cleaning fees. We asked for refund of these fees as well, as we paid all of those fees plus a reservation fee for the two nights. So far it's been over six weeks month and they refunded that small amount, then they stopped responding to emails. Beyond the first call when VRBO set up a case number, VRBO has not helped. I hate leaving bad reviews but we need more help than this. We had less than 24 hours of rest and relaxation in what was a 3 days, 2 nights, Feb. 15-17 reservation period. We occupied the first cabin less than 1 hour and in the second, less than 24 hours.

Anniversary Celebration
Publié le 19 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayHad a wonderful stay at this cute little gem. We celebrated our anniversary and had the best time! The weather was perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub under the starry night. The cabin was cozy and clean. Pillows and bed were also perfect for us and we enjoyed a good night’s sleep. The only recommendation is additional ventilation in the upstair bedroom. We slept downstairs so it didn’t matter to us.

Almost Perfect

A couple of things: The area is nice, but the back of the cabin faces a main road. There was a good bit of traffic, so sitting on the porch or being in the hot tub weren't exactly private. But, there is a pretty good distance between the cabin and the road. There are other cabins in the same development where the back porch faces a wooded area. The coffee pit needs descaling or they need a new one and there is a limited amount of towels and wash clothes. Other than that, everything was great.

Great place
Publié le 4 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was a beautiful little cabin! A little more work could go into the cleaning part of it but it was a great place for us to be able to hang out for the weekend! The kitchen is stocked with almost everything needed. There is one bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and 1 bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The heat rises, so it makes the 2nd floor a lot different temp than downstairs but the fan helps. The showers are good sized and pressure was good. The hot tub is right outside the downstairs bedroom door, easily accessible and was a nice touch! It’s a place we would stay again when needed

Winter get away
