Short city break
Posted May 13, 2024 on HotelsLovely modern and clean hotel a very short walk from the railway station. Next door to a huge mall with restaurants. Easily walking distance to the old town and the main city attractions. Great bed, slept extremely well, the room was super quiet even though it was overlooking the main road. Breakfast was very good.

Awful experience
Posted Jan. 1, 2024 on HotelsRoom ok. Breakfast awful. Overcrowded, dirty. Had to clean own table. Staff overwhelmed. 2nd day worse. Trash everywhere. Dirty dishes. Had breakfast outside. Spa with holes in floor. Freezing jacuzzi. No pool. Cold sauna. Teens showering fully dressed. Very badly managed.

In the SPA area, we provide the opportunity to visit the Turkish bath and the Finnish sauna, as well as a cold Tub for use after the sauna.The spa is not included in the room rate. This is an additional option that guests decide to use or not upon arrival. Additional charge is 15 euros per person for 2 hours. Guests must make a reservation 1.5 hours before visiting the spa. All information about hotel services can be found in our profile or in the room on the TV screen.We appreciate you sharing your concerns and we hope you give us the opportunity to serve you better in the near future. Bad barman!
Posted Aug. 28, 2023 on HotelsFirst, important to say I raised the points below with staff when leaving; the person at reception was apologetic and said she’d pass the points on - so that’s a good start.
Two points that niggled:
1. The music, especially at breakfast time, was too loud - I don’t imagine many people need or want loud Led Zeppelin first thing in the morning.
2. More annoyingly, there’s a barman there who was just plain rude: he didn’t greet or even acknowledge me at the bar, and barely communicated throughout; worse, he had what appeared to be friends join him, hanging around at the bar and even playing their own music - the barman was far more animated then, and the crowd at the bar didn’t make me want to order anything else. He certainly put me off using the bar the subsequent evenings.
That aside: great location; very comfortable hotel.

This year we have carried out a lot of renovation work both in the common areas and in the living rooms. The interiors have been updated not only cosmetically, but also a complete replacement of the furniture in the common areas. At the moment, the only part that has not been renovated is the facade of our hotel, which represents the historical value of the city.
